South bank is a beautiful late Georgian ground floor garden flat over two floors, just 5 minutes walk from the town centre and opera house. It holds an elevated and leafy south facing position with views over the town and surrounding countryside. The flat has 2 spacious double bedrooms, one of which boasts a super king bed. It has recently been sympathetically refurbished to a high standard by the owners. This includes, an excellently equipped kitchen/diner with a separate equally well equipped utility/pantry, a lovely, spacious and comfortable sitting room with a large south facing picture bay window and all the style and grandeur that one maykitchen expect from a property of this era.

Absolutely lovely stay Everything you could wish for. Lovely period property Lounge sumptuous The main bedroom upstairs was super luxurious Although bedroom downstairs was a basement one it was also very quiet and comfortable Only a 10 minute walk to all attractions Went to St Moritz italian. Amazing !!!. Need to book Ask for a table upstairs. Food ambience staff. Excellent All in all a lovely stay

Comfortable apartment near the main attractions
My wife and I have stayed here three times now. The apartment is well located for all the main attractions yet is in a very quiet area. A home from home.

Ideal!
We had a great stay in this lovely flat! The location is perfect - quiet at night but a very short stroll into Buxton town Centre, park etc. The flat is well equipped - two bathrooms was a bonus - and spacious. The weather was very hot so being able to open windows more easily would have been useful. We made use of the outdoor bench in the garden, which is a nice place to sit. Some paint on the bench and window frames plus a tidy up of the garden itself would make this an even bigger selling point for this excellent accommodation. A non-slip mat for the upstairs bathroom bath would be a suggestion, as it's quite slippery when wet/climbing in and out of the shower. Nothing major which couldn't be easily sorted to make this flat hard to beat!
