Ocean Forest Plaza Unit # 1111, "Once Upon A Meadow"is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath Oceanfront condo on the 11th floor with great views and sounds of the ocean and outdoor pool area.
The bedroom has a king bed with super comfortable memory foam mattress and linens, a comfortable chair, carpeting, flat screen TV, dresser, sink/vanity area. The bathroom has a full size tub/shower, blow dryer, and plenty of luxurious soft towels.
The living area has a comfortable queen sleeper sofa, swivel rocker, a large flat screen smart TV, free WiFi, board games, books and magazines for your enjoyment.
The kitchen is well stocked with stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, beverage bar area, drip coffee pot, single serve coffee machine, blender, pots and pans, plenty of counter space, and much more.

Enjoy drinks and food at the large peninsula with comfortable bar stools.

The large balcony is the perfect place to read a book or take a nap listening to the waves on the comfortable sectional furniture. There are beach chairs for your convenience to use on the beach.
The building is very clean with an indoor pool, hot tub, outdoor pool, sauna, and laundry room.
This condo is our home away from home. It is a place where you can relax, feel comfortable, spend time with your family, or just recharge yourself. We are owner operated and our goal is for guests to enjoy their stay and to look forward to coming back every year to experience the perfect vacation.

A sweet retreat
We loved our time at this place! It was so relaxing to wake up each morning and enjoy the ocean and sunrise on the beautiful balcony. It was clean and cozy and exactly what we were looking for. We hope to be back again!!

Delightful Stay

Wonderful Honeymoon Getaway
We enjoyed our stay at Jerry & Karen’s lovely home! We celebrated our nuptials and was extremely happy with the location and condo! The views were amazing from the comfortable patio furniture, the condo was exactly as pictured! It was quiet, which is exactly what we wanted and equipped with everything we needed. The condo was super clean, the bed was so comfortable, and I can’t say enough about all of the fluffy great smelling towels provided! It was close to all attractions but far enough away to have peace and quiet, very easy to navigate the area. They thought of everything you would need while on vacation and we really appreciated that! They were great hosts with clear communication! We rented an SUV, so it was perfect to have access to the outdoor parking lot! We absolutely recommend staying here and plan on revisiting!!

We enjoyed are stay, the unit was small but well appointed. We had brought a trailer to pick up something on the way home and had to find somewhere to leave it (a local towing company was very helpful), but the oversized lot for parking always had spots

A Slice of Oceanfront Heaven
The condo was absolutely charming and situated right across the street from the beach! Hosts/owners Jerry and Karen were wonderfully communicative, which made for a smooth, stress-free rental experience. Would definitely visit again!

Great location, quiet, and clean with a beautiful ocean view! The beach was right across the street, and where the condo is located the beach is not crowded. We definitely recommend for a getaway!

Pure Bliss
I’m a busy mom who doesn’t get away often and he’s a man who does not stop so this is the perfect time for us to press pause on the birthday getaway for him! we enjoyed everything about the location, from the space to the layout, the feel and the area. We’ve stayed in condos but felt very at home in this cozy and clean environment. We definitely would recommend anyone who wants to stay and have a nice inclusive time away, whether it be with your family or an intimate setting. They were very accommodating for either choice. We loved it!

R&R mission accomplished
After having a few days inland, we were ready for some beach time and rest and relaxation. This was the perfect spot for it. The balcony was perfect for watching and hearing the soothing waves and to catch the ocean breeze. When we ventured down to the beach it was an easy walk and the beach chairs and umbrella were so appreciated!

Quick Getaway

Awesome Myrtle Beach VRBO!
This is undoubtedly the best vacation rental we have experienced. Communication with the owners was excellent, as was the property. In addition to everything being accurately portrayed in the listing, the location, view, and cleanliness were amazing. The bed was very comfortable, and even small touches such as the coffee table being on wheels so it could be easily moved reflects the owner's thoughtfulness of their guests. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a Myrtle Beach getaway. Our only regret was that we did not book for a longer stay. Thank you Jerry and Karen!

Fantastic find!
We loved this condo! The view is amazing. It was so nice to have comfortable patio furniture instead of the more common hard plastic that you find. I was able to truly relax and read a book on the balcony. The living room furniture and the bed were also very comfortable. I loved the decor. The location was great because it was quiet but still a quick drive to either Myrtle or North Myrtle. I would definitely book here again on my next trip to the area!

The view! Absolutely worth the entire trip. Everything was as described. There was an issue with the sleeper sofa and the hosts took care of it right away. The beach was right across the street. Everything was convenient but not in the middle of chaos. We will be back.

Disappointing
After a long drive from Ohio, we had to wait 30 minutes after the check in time for the cleaning lady to finish cleaning the unit. Once we checked in it was apparent that the cleaning was "rushed" as the floors still had sand on them & the bathroom had hair on the floor. As the owner of a STR home & a residential cleaning company I located the vacuum to find that it was clogged so after I fixed the problem I swept the floors & dusted the previous footprints & water rings left on the coffee table & washed the hand prints off of the sliding glass door leading to the balcony. The coffee pot overflowed each morning. Our grandson was sitting on the balcony doing an essay & a tenant in a unit above us threw food off their balcony which landed on him & the balcony of this unit, I cleaned the balcony carpet following the incident in an attempt to prevent it staining for the unit owners only to be told by them that there was "food debris" left on the balcony & a towel was ruined. This was supposed to be a fun weekend with our grandchildren that turned in to alot of work for Nana. The unit is well laid out & the view of the ocean is just perfect but as someone who travels often this unit was just too much work to refer to our time away as a "vacation."

Great little condo
This place worked very well for a last minute spring break trip for our family. Only one bedroom so our kids slept on the pull out coach, which was adequate. View was awesome from the 11th floor and spent lots of time on the balcony listening to the waves crash, which we don't get in Illinois. The late March weather was below average but we still spent as much time on the beach as possible. Beach was directly across the street and that road was much less busy than we had thought. Hosts were great at communicating and even issued a small refund when the building's water was shut off for a few hours, which was out of their control. Overall great spot for a little beach vacay!

Why they chose this property

This building is away from the boardwalk area of Myrtle Beach which means it is less congested. It is in the Cabana District, an area that has cabanas along the beach and surrounded by residential housing. The beach is never crowded.

What makes this property unique

Ocean front view from the 11th floor is so relaxing and peaceful. Enjoy relaxing, or taking a nap, on the sectional sofa on the balcony.
