About this property

Little Lammas, Ringstead, Norfolk

A super bijou holiday retreat for one or two tucked quietly away in the attractive village of Ringstead, with its popular local gastro pub and excellent village amenities. Enjoy easy access to the coast (three miles away) and some fabulous local walks, including the Peddars Way which runs down to the coast.

Little Lammas is a smart and cosy self-contained single-storey property adjacent to the owner's home. Comfortable, stylish and all-on-one level, this delightful private annexe has views across the front garden to the fields beyond. With a clever use of space and a light and bright modern interior comprising an open plan living area and adjacent en-suite bedroom, this is a great little spot for a couple or single holidaymaker looking for a conveniently located, peaceful and relaxing break at any time of the year.

The village of Ringstead is a walker's paradise. As well as the Peddars Way, there are numerous walks from the doorstep that take in the surrounding countryside with its wildflowers and wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for hares, game birds, skylarks and birds of prey as they quarter the surrounding fields. Birders are spoilt for choice with RSPB reserves at Snettisham and Titchwell, Holme Dunes Reserve and Holme Bird Observatory - all just a short drive away.

Additional Information:
One well-behaved small to medium dog welcome, for a small additional charge.
Children over the age of two welcome.
The owner lives in the main house, to which Little Lammas is an annexe. It retains its own entrance door and privacy.
Synthetic duvet and pillows.
Please request on booking if you require the bed to be split into 2'6" singles.

Great price for a short break
Great price for a little short break ideal for a couple. Only one criticism couldn’t control the central heating from within the holiday let. Loads of interesting places to visit just a short distance from Hunstanton. Nice pub in the village and shop we really enjoyed visiting the nursery report herself some plants all very nice.

10/10 Excellent

Very clean and comfortable accommodation in quiet location.
Little Lammas has been decorated and furnished very well, everything matches and has been well thought out. Excellent oven, fridge and kitchen utensils. Large bedroom with comfortable bed. Bathroom good. The owners Caroline and Jenny made us most welcome and we thoroughly enjoyed our week in Little Lammas. The village of Ringstead has a good pub "The Gin Trap" and a village shop within walking distance and is a short car journey from Hunstanston.

Little Llamas
Lovely clean and pleasant accommodation. Had to borrow vacuum cleaner from owners though because of our dogs hairs. Had to ask for another towel also. No garden to sit in . Front of accommodation opens on to a main road with nothing to stop dogs getting out. Don’t take your dog if it likes to go outside unless you put it on a lead every time. Welcome pack very sparce so take your own milk and bread. Love Norfolk and will choose somewhere else next time.

8/10 Good

Small but beautifully formed!
Compact space but more than adequate for two on holiday. Very well maintained and a feeling of welcome on arrival. Local pub and village shop are excellent and walkable in ten minutes. If visiting the area again would definitely think in terms of Little Lammas. Particularly recommended for bird and nature lovers as the owners are enthusiasts and many interesting sites are nearby.

A restful and enjoyable holiday
The accommodation and facilities were excellent and with very friendly owners. Our one small concern was that the outside space wasn't enclosed so we had to keep an eye on our dog. Otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
