During difficult times of a pandemic, Stocks Tree Cottage was a very welcome break.
During difficult times of a pandemic, Stocks Tree Cottage was a very welcome break. The Owners are lovely and made us feel welcome (socially distanced) and were helpful. The Cottage although stripped back for Covid-19 reasons was comfortable, warm and well equipped for our week. Weather wasn't great but it didn't stop us from exploring the area. Lots of walking, we even found a gruffalo! One thing I would be mindful of is this Cottage is rural therefore to find shops etc it is a drive. For us this wasn't a problem and we were happy to be in what felt like the middle of nowhere. Exactly what was needed! Oh and if your there on a Friday we definitely recommend the wood fired Pizza! We would love to return at some point. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We had a very enjoyable stay at the cottage.
We had a very enjoyable stay at the cottage. It is a short drive to Hereford where there are plenty of supermarkets and sites to see, and is also convenient for National Trust, and a little further for English Hertage sites, Forest of Dean and Ross-on-Wye. The owners are welcoming and the cottage was quaint but with modern amenities. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

A lovely cottage that suited us perfectly with the downstairs bedroom and en suite for Dad.
A lovely cottage that suited us perfectly with the downstairs bedroom and en suite for Dad. Very friendly owners who were welcoming but not over bearing. Lovely outside space to eat out or read a book in the lovely garden. Very handy for Hereford and the rest of the county. Extremely peaceful with just the sounds of the birds and insects, the occasional horse passing by and of course, the odd tractor. Would highly recommend.
