Comfortable cottage with everything we needed to enjoy a week in the Peak District.
Comfortable cottage with everything we needed to enjoy a week in the Peak District. Carol and Colin, the owners, are friendly and welcoming, even providing a bottle of prosecco and chocolates! The cottage was spotlessly clean and there is a lovely enclosed garden area for guests to use. We will definately return in the future. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

A beautiful little cottage, but it is very small and the entrance is straight into the bedroom, which may be a problem if you have a large dog. There is also a high stone step into the living area, which may be a difficult for anyone with mobility problems. There is a small shop selling basics and 2 pubs, one selling excellent food, 5 minutes walk away. Morrison’s is about 10 minutes away by car. Overall, though, it was a lovely well equipped cottage and we would certainly make a return visit. It is a good centre to see Derbyshire.

Yew Tree Bothy was spotlessly clean and had everything you would need. The village is lovely, it has 2 pubs. One does food and one doesn’t. There is a convenience store but it never seemed to be open.
