Foston Grange
Lovely homely cottage in a perfect location, rural farm but only 25 mins to York. Cottage was clean, warm and beautifully appointed with lots of space for our family of 5. Wonderful welcoming hosts happy to show us the cows & reveal a little about farm life when asked. Perfect base to explore York and only an hour from the coast to explore Whitby or Scarborough.

Outstanding
All four of us appreciated everything at the cottage. It was comfortable, clean, spacious enough for us all, and in a beautiful peaceful location. Our hosts were really helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We absolutely loved our stay.
We absolutely loved our stay. Although weather was not brilliant we had a great time at their cottage. Loved seeing the wildlife as you walk out the door. The owners are lovely and friendly. The cottage contains everything you need and more! Lots of added extras. Dog friendly with a lovely garden seating area. Super clean. Comfy beds. Very spacious. Will be staying again.

We had a lovely week at Foston Grange.
We had a lovely week at Foston Grange. The cottage was spotless and had everything you could possibly need. A lovely touch from Caroline was the tea basket plus a pint of milk, 6 freshly laid eggs and a freshly baked delicious lemon drizzle cake. We were also left discount vouchers for nearby attractions, which was a nice touch. We were a family of five and all of us were happy there. We all said we'd love to go back and stay again. The setting is really peaceful. The most noise you are likely to get is from the birds singing in the morning. We loved it being so dark in the night - quite a novelty for town dwellers like us! We left the curtains open at bedtime and woke to beautiful rolling countryside every morning. I gave a low score for local facilities because you do have to drive for about 10 mins to get to a shop. There was nothing in Foston itself. That wasn't important to us as we loved everything about our stay.
