Superbly located in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, with long-distance views from the rear towards Malham Cove, these three properties form part of a barn conversion dating back to the 1800s. Exposed stonework, beams and arches are a feature in their well furnished interiors. They are set on the owners’ working farm (keep dogs under control) and there is a farm shop close by where there is a selection of local produce and crafts which can be purchased. With their own separate garden areas complete with barbecue equipment, the cottages can be booked together to accommodate larger groups wishing to holiday together, yet retain their independence.

Surrounded by rolling countryside criss-crossed with the limestone walls for which this region is renowned, each forms an ideal base for outdoor enthusiasts, with stunning walks from the doorstep leading to Malham Cove, Gordale Scar, Malham Tarn and Janet’s Foss. The historic market town of Skipton is close at hand, boasting one of England’s best preserved Norman castles. Take a leisurely boat trip along the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, step back in time with a narrated ghost walk around the town’s backwaters, or hunt for a bargain at the bustling street market – its stalls laden with local produce. An alternative selection of shops and tearooms can be found in Settle (6 miles), an ideal base for embarking on a journey aboard the famous Settle to Carlisle Railway. Set on the banks of the River Wharfe, the ruined priory of Bolton Abbey offers a picturesque setting for picnics and strolls along the river bank, and serves as a good starting point for more challenging hikes through forest and heath. Plenty of good restaurants and country pubs serving real ales and fine local fayre in the vicinity. Shop 10 yards.

Stable Cottage (IFU), Cove View (IFV) and The Byre (IFW) can be booked together to accommodate up to 16 guests.

Spacious and comfortable holiday home in rural setting
Overall, beautiful, clean, comfortable accommodation in a very nice rural setting with far reaching views towards Malham Cove. Located in North Yorks National Park and within easy reach of Skipton and Settle. All amenities such as dishwasher, ironing board: tea bags coffee, sugar sachets, milk, biscuits, etc provided. Internet included. Beds comfortable. Hair dryer (cool). Would have liked: an upgraded/smart TV, guest comment book, cards/games, gate at top of steps so garden is fully enclosed for our dog who's good at escaping! There is however a large communal grassy area, which we didn't use, presumably enclosed, where dogs perhaps can run around freely. Conclusion, an outstanding property adjacent to a well-equipped Farm Shop with cafe. Would happily return.

So comfortable, perfect location
We loved staying here. Decor is quite basic but the cottage has everything you need and is warm! Loved being able to get onto the Pennine way from across the road and accessibility of Malham, Grassington and Janet’s Foss for some spectacular walks and pubs too. The farm shop on site was very welcome for fantastic meats and sit in breakfasts. We’ll be back!

Enjoyable break during which the owners dealt with a plumbing emergency to our satisfaction.
Enjoyable break during which the owners dealt with a plumbing emergency to our satisfaction. A lovely barn conversion in a wonderful location. Only downside being early morning traffic noise affecting one bedroom. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Beautiful, spacious cottage in a great location for local walks.
Beautiful, spacious cottage in a great location for local walks. Very clean and comfortable. Well stocked farm shop on site with local produce. With the current covid situation we felt safe. Only slight negative is that we were next to the very busy main road to Malham which was noisy at times when sitting outside. Fantastic September weather contributed to a wonderful weeks holiday. We hope to return in the near future. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo
