The building is an imposing Grade II listed mansion house with an illustrious background. Built in 1835 by a Napoleonic war hero, it has been a WWII isolation hospital, a catering college and owned by a rock star with recording studios used by many famous music artists, a shrine to Jimi Hendrix once existed. We booked in between lockdowns and are so glad we did.
We booked in between lockdowns and are so glad we did. It was a lovely break and we felt safe in its location. Very peaceful and unspoiled with just the sheep in the field outside for company. We enjoyed the walk into Aberystwyth along the coastal path. If you want peace and harmony with nature in comfortable accommodation this could be for you. Well appointed studio appartment in a large ( mainly residential ) block.
Well appointed studio appartment in a large ( mainly residential ) block. we liked the gallery bedroom and the views out to sea, the town of Aberystwyth is walkable along the beach in about 30 mins. Overall we enjoyed our holiday, but the late check in /early check out times may not suit everyone. also the method of rubbish disposal needs improving.
