## Neighbourhood
A well loved area to those who live there, West Hampstead has plenty to offer due to its great location and thriving community. The high street that dominates the area is not merely a great collection of boutiques, restaurants and cafes but also acts as a social hub. Hampstead Heath is a short walk away, as are the shops, cinemas and leisure complexes of Swiss Cottage and Finchley Road. The three train stations on West End Lane provide easy routes both across London and as far as Brighton.
City professionals, young couples and families are drawn to its West Hampstead’s vibrant cafe culture and impressive architecture. Neighbouring Hampstead Village, with its hilly lanes, alleyways and streets full of independent shops, boutiques and cosy pubs, is a country-like getaway in the heart of the city.
From opportunities to explore the nearby heath to dining in a range of superb restaurants and enjoying its vibrant nightlife, West Hampstead offers the best of country and city living.
## Transit
West Hampstead may appear as tree-lined residential streets and red-brick period homes, but it has the excellent transport links of an inner-city area. West Hampstead tube station is on the Jubilee Line, which takes 9 minutes to Bond Street, 18 minutes to London Bridge and 25 minutes to Canary Wharf.
The West Hampstead Overground station is on the Richmond to Stratford line, so the riverside idyll of Richmond is just 33 minutes away, while the buzzing nightlife of Hackney and Dalston are a 20 minute ride in the other direction. West Hampstead also offers a Thameslink train which goes directly through London and towards Brighton and Gatwick Airport, and is served by various buses too.
Kilburn High Road station is also incredibly close to the apartment, as is Brondesbury station. There are also two Underground stations, Kilburn (Jubilee line) and Kilburn Park (Bakerloo line), so the apartment is very well connected. Several bus services including routes to Victoria and Oxford Circus serve the length of the High Road using designated bus lanes so you will get to beat the traffic.
