"Mia Casa " Not your normal basic beach house but cozy family friendly beach 'home' with home luxuries. Yours without having the rates and land tax to pay. Feel at home away from home. Fully equipped with all household appliances .Condiments provided so you don't have to bring every little thing.
3 bedroom brick house, 2 doors from beach. House sleeps 6 and also available is a separate fully self contained double bed retreat (for those extra people.) Relax in tropical landscaped oasis of 1160sqm . BBQ area fully undercover. Outdoor spa.
Stunning dog friendly beach (no leads required) large garden for the dog to play, fully fenced so there is no escape.

So close to the beach
We loved being only two houses away from the beach. The place was very dog friendly and our two cockers loved exploring the yard and going to the beach everyday. Mia Casa was very comfortable and had everything we needed. It was good to do the easy walk into town to have a lovely breakfast. Thank you for our relaxed stay for us and the pooches.

Shower leaking into hallway, carpet wet infront bedroom behind bed,from shower, toilet not functioning properly, spa malfunctioned first day so out of order all week. The house smells, kitchencupboards smell ,overall cleanliness very poor, barbecue area very dirty ,the only reason we stayed was my little grandsonhad waited for 12 mths for his beach holliday, we will not return.

A Hidden Gem
Hi Katrina, Can't thank you enough for the accommodation. It was perfect for the three of us. My wife and autistic son (20yr old) had the best break in years. The closeness to the beach was just amazing. No problems with the amenities at all. Just a great spot to relax.

Great little hide away
Loved everything about this little hidden gem. Quite area, close to beach, all mod cons in house. Pooch enjoyed the beach freedom and when she was tired we could explore surrounding areas. Would recommend to anyone needing pet and child friendly abode.

You can hear the waves from the driveway and birds sing a wake up call so you can go and see the sunrise. Woolies is a quick drive away and the hosts are responsive

Great location
Great location and nice backyard for the dogs. But sheets on both beds weren't clean. Spill mark on one and dogs hair in both. Over cleanliness wasn't the best.

The location is what I keep telling myself!
The location of this property is great. It needs some major updating and deep cleaning. I have read all the reviews and some of the problems have been resolved and some have not.

Unexpected gem
I am reluctant to rate this property…to keep it a secret! We have been staying in Culburra for years and the place we usually stay is no longer affordable…just like every other place. Excepting Mia Casa. This house is comfortable, homely and reasonably priced. Well stocked and a terrific yard for the pets! Great location as well. Will definitely be back.

Great dog friendly home in excellent location
We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday at this comfortable home away from home. Quiet location, close to a beautiful dog friendly beach with a nice little shopping centre not far away. House has everything you need, including a generous supply of towels. Only negative was not being able to use the BBQ during our stay - received a prompt and positive response when we raised the issue with Kristina. We look forward to staying here again. Just perfect
Travelling with an elderly relative who stayed with friends. I needed a small place to stay with my dog and Kristina kindly offered me exactly what we needed. Just 1 min. walk to the beach was a bonus.

Unbelievable a hidden gem in good location
Pristine tropical gardens, quiet location close to everything shops included. 2 minutes walk to the beach. House is very comfortable has everything you need plus more . Great communication with host very welcoming and happy to help you with anything needed. We absolutely loved our stay, had a fabulous weekend, looking forward to booking again. 5/5 stars. Firstly I have to say that the location was perfect, the backyard was great but unfortunately it stops there. I am sorry to say that the house needs a major declutter, it is ridiculous what is in the house. The musty dusty smell was bad and it was not because of the rain. There was mould on the ceiling and yes I can say that was caused by the rain but again it could of been cleaned up. The outside of the house/BBQ area definitely could do with a very good clean. As for communication with the owner, I am still waiting to hear back from her.

We had a nice two night stay at Mia Casa. Lexi & Shiro enjoyed large, secured back yard. Boys had a good time enjoying the spa. Kristina was very helpful and we had a great time.

The most awesome holiday...I loved Culburra beach.....the house was spacious, great backyard for our fur babies....bring your aerogaurd as expected there is heaps of mozzies....I loved the walk down to the beach and after the first day of settling in, it felt like home...Thank You for being so generous with towels and bathroom stuff...we will be back soon.. Very homey and welcoming.
Lovely home away from home for holidays. Location is wonderful so close to the beach, a bit of a hidden gem. Abit crazy with mosquitoes which was weather related. Jacuzzi was a nice addition and the second separate retreat was a big plus for us.

Great location, house needs work!
Fantastic location, very close to beach with really only foot traffic. Large private section with good open areas at back. A lot of fallen debris (palms) on ground/roof and trees would benefit from cutting back from house, as made a lot of noise in wind. House was very musty, could have done with airing before guest arrival. Generally clean inside but outside patio could do with water-blaster!. Décor inside very dated and cluttered, but comfortable and adequate. Large TV, however picture often distorted on top half of screen. Limited hot water for showers, even with only two adults. Bedding barely adequate on cold nights. Spa pool had not been cleaned and smell was terrible, could not use! Overall, good summer holiday batch - but would not recommend any other time of year.

Hot water not hot in shower/ kitchen Hw tap toilet noted as not working Tape over light switches, not enough backyard lighting Dryer made terrible sound, turned it off Water fountain covered/ hidden by overgrown garden, found it on my second day Cleanliness of shower not good, some kit items were dirty, stained mugs, bbq not clean, dusty areas inside, not clean behind tv in lge. No shower soap holder There was Sand in the spa Ornaments are excessive inside Clutter- too many lounges (4) in lge / things on top of kit cupboards/ outside ornaments and general ‘junk’/ too many fake flowers inside/ fake veges hanging from curtains in kitchen and 2 bowls of fake fruits in kitchen.. Gardens in desperate need of maintenance, made me want to do it! There were so many random things we just kept finding things over our 2 days due to the clutter. Confusing- auto email said check out 11 am, in house sign said 10am, then I received a personal email saying check out ‘any time.’ Any time was good though. Brooms/ clogs / mops/ bucket/ short long dust pan and broom outside near gate that is locked with rope could’ve been hidden elsewhere. The best and main thing was that I was comfortable away from home and I certainly was- which is very surprising! Also, 20-30 secs walk to the beaches great too. They also provide an excessive amount of items you may not think to take, or may have forgotten. Communication during and at time of reservation = excellent and friendly Comfortable/ good: very comfy beds / lge recliner/ kitchen size, dining size and yard size/ DVD options/ toilet separate to bathroom.
