Perfect young family stopover spot in Ljubljana
Our family found this apartment perfectly suited our needs: after a week in the mountains, we had a one-night stopover in the city to catch our next-day flight. The host was helpful and very quick to respond to a few questions we had on the VRBO messaging system. The apartment itself is very clean, up-to-date and pleasant; parking was right out front and the location is within a short walk of a few restaurants, a bakery/coffee shop, and a grocery store. In the morning we drove to the downtown area (far to walk - may be transit options?) to explore by foot. Us parents stayed in the large bed in the bedroom, and the kids (10 & 13) shared the L-shaped sofa (a rolled up mattress was also provided but kids liked the sofa). This arrangement worked perfectly for us and we'd definitely stay here again if we are lucky enough to visit Slovenia in the future!

Gute Lage für Stadt und Umgebung
Es war ein angenehmer Aufenthalt für 4 Nächte. Die Lage ist verkehrsgünstig und trotzdem ruhig. Fußläufig sind einige nette Restaurants, Bars und Supermarkt erreichbar. Auch gut für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Das Auto kann man gut abstellen, was gerade bei uns mit dem Transport eines Kajaks auf dem Auto-Dach von Vorteil war. Mit dem Bus kommt schnell und günstig in die Stadt. Allerdings bekommt man die Tickets nur der Innenstadt. Die Busfahrer nehmen einen aber trotzdem mit. ;-) Preis-Leistung gut. Gerne wieder!

Just like home...
We had such a pleasant stay at this apartment. It was immensely clean and had all the amenities (there was coffee, soaps, lots of comfy pillows and blankets for perfect relaxation in the evening) including parking space for our van. We parked our Honda Odyssey without a problem. We were only 10 minutes away from the center so it was easy to drive and explore, there's so much to do and see. We also visited Postojna Cave and our children absolutely loved it. Best thing is that it snowed and our kids played safely in the snow just outside the house, they had so much fun!!! Hope to come back early this Summer! Also, the lady gave some chocolates to our kids as we were leaving - how cool and generous is that!?! 😍
