Two walkable blocks from Lake Tahoe, 10 minutes to ski resorts, and 1 mile from grocery store. 3 King size beds, 2 queens, 5 twins, and 2 sets of bunk beds, a crib, a pack n play and a sleeper sofa make this the perfect mountain family gathering space or corporate retreat. You will love playing shuffleboard and pool, or lounging in the hot tub and enjoying the breathtaking views. The quietness, the views, the close proximity to the lake, hiking, skiing, groceries. Just a couple walking blocks from the house is the North Tahoe regional park with sled area, groomed cross country trails, hiking, mtn biking, tennis courts, disc golf, incredible views.

Great Family Vacation Home
Just had a wonderful family vacation over the holidays. House was perfect for our family of 13. Lots of room for everyone and a great location. Kitchen very well stocked with lots of pots, pans, baking dishes and small appliances. Kimberly was amazing to work with, always quick to respond to our questions. And very thankful for the 2 ski passes. Would definitely recommend this home. Lots of family memories were made. Thank you Kimberly for sharing it with us.

Great summer stay!
We really enjoyed our time at this home! Plenty of room for all of our guests to sleep comfortably. The outside balcony was so peaceful. Location was great! Inventory of kitchen utensils and supplies were low. Overall great stay!

Awesome property for family reunion with easy access to activites
We stayed in July 2022 for a family reunion involving 3 families (6 adults + 7 offspring ages 12-24). There was plenty of space for adult couples to each have their own quarters and kids/teens to determine their own accommodations (1 room with 5 single beds/bunks + several other possibilities). Tahoe Vista park is within easy walking distance via local trails and several members of our party enjoyed the ropes course. Kings Beach is a long walk or short drive and features parasailing, kayaking, SUP and other amenities. The home includes beach wagons, beach chairs and a beach umbrella, all of which were very much appreciated. We did not use the karaoke machine but appreciated having it available. There is a Safeway (with a Starbucks inside!) within short driving distance and MANY amazing hikes nearby. Several restaurants within walking distance. The town of Truckee (more affordable groceries, shops, restaurants) was only about 20 min and Northstar ski resort even closer. Host was communicative and responsive. Would definitely return!

Huge and comfy house in a great location
We had a great time at this property, with 3 generations staying together. It was wonderful to find a house that had enough bedrooms and space to hold all of us very comfortably. Having 2 large tables was nice for meals and there were plenty of pots/pans (and 2 ovens!) for cooking. One thing that ended up being helpful was the billiard/game room -- had a fun time playing plus there is a foldout couch and the room has a door that can be closed to transform the room into a private bedroom.

I work as a Traumatologist and it’s well known that eco therapy (being in the outdoors in nature) is both healing and promotes resiliency. I love helping folks to heal their brains from the traumatic experience of life, and I love all things outdoors myself.

I’m also an avid golfer and if any of your guests want to golf at the Schaffer’s Mill Golf Course in Truckee, CA I’m happy to find T times for you as my guests. Fees vary depending on the time of year. I can either accompany you, or you may go unaccompanied.

Why they chose this property

With it’s six bedrooms and 3 stories the home promotes a great vibe for multiple generations to be both together and have their own space as well. The new Placer County Laws limit the number of folks in any one house to a maximum of 14 people age 12 or higher, but we can accommodate more with kids age 11 or under in the total count.

We are walking distance to the Lake and a short drive to Palisades, Alpine, or Northstar.

What makes this property unique

Having a garage is a benefit in many ways. You may safely store your gear and beach toys, and it’s ads a level of protection from snow etc. There’s a two car garage and a driveway for parking.
