About this property

💙PUERTA AL MAR💙 DOWNTON-ON THE BEACH-DIRECT OCEAN VIEWS-POOL/WALK EVERYWHARE

This spacious, kid friendly, waterfront condo is the epitome of cozy and the perfect home-away-from-home. You’ll find yourself surrounded by the most calming ocean and mountain views right outside your private balcony. Three private balconies, in fact. Golden sunrises will greet you through the mountains each morning. During the day you’ll even catch some exciting views of dolphins! They can be spotted year-round, and peak whale season is Dec – Mar. Just outside your door is the Camerones Beach and the most awesome part is actually at night, when you can listen to the waves and rest to the beat of the ocean.

Conveniently located on a quiet local street in Downtown PV, you’ll find everything you need within walking distance. Shops and the Supermarket are within 2 walking blocks. Several exquisite seafood restaurants, happening bars and delicious taco spots are in Downtown. If you decide to stay in for a home-cooked meal, we’ve got you covered! How about your very own private chef? You can sign up for our BBQ service, where you will cook on a gas grill and even take care of the cooking, right for you if wanted. The personalized service doesn’t end there, we also provide in-house massages that can be requested. Essentially, we offer the benefits, security and service of a resort but the prices and reliability of a privately owned vacation rental.

Your comfort and safety is our #1 priority. That’s why we have a fully staffed building, 24 hour security, AC in all the rooms, laundry room with washer/dryer in unit, full kitchen, free high speed internet, all your beach needs (umbrellas, chairs, towels) and an on-site pool. This is a very safe neighborhood and we ensure a relaxing stay. There’s an elevator and stairs, taxis/ubers are available at all times and you’re only 10 minutes from the airport. Not to mention our airport transfers service where we will find you by name at the airport and chaperone you to your luxurious condo, just to enhance the Puerta al Mar vacation experience.

One of the #1 listed “things to do” in Puerto Vallarta is the scenic Malecón Boardwalk. Lucky for you, this is merely 5 blocks away or about an 8 minute walk. You’ll get to take in so many great sights and tourist attractions when staying at the Puerta al Mar while having the small town, community feel. You’ll feel comfortable enough to bring the whole family or group for any special occasion as we own multiple units, making our properties great for families with children, weddings, family reunions and any special event.

Some of the best golf courses in the world are only 20 minutes away, such as the Tom Weiskopf signature, Jack Nicklaus signature and Joe Finger signature. Including the charming Yelapa, Islas Marietas, Majahuitas, Las Caletas, Sayulita, San Pancho, Mascota, Tequila, Punta Mita, and The Sierra Madre. After coming to Puerto Vallarta for over 20 years, we know you will have an amazing time on these adventurous day trips.

Special Place
A great condo with decks looking over the ocean and a deck towards mountains for the morning sun. Well stocked once we discovered the pantry in the laundry room. The neighbourhoods is great. Off the Malecon but close enough to walk to it if you want. Two grocery stores a short walk away.

Great Location some improvements needed
This is a great location, great view, the heart of 5th December, many restaurants within walking distance, grocery stores, local market(end of San Salvatore), walking distance to the Malecon. Be prepared to have late night noise on beach side Partying/fireworks and band noise on the street side(we used white noise and it didn't bother us). The condo is quite nice, as with other reviews a little TLC is needed ( complete the dishwasher installation, not mounted so it tips forward, fix the balcony sliding doors - master very difficult to close, deep cleaning needed, dust balls hanging from doors, coffee table ledges full of dust) if these things aren't cleaned, makes you wonder - which leads to the cockroaches found in the kitchen. We notified the concierge on our way out to lunch who said she would contact Paulette and advise us, while out for lunch Paulette had instructed her staff to go fumigate, firstly Paulette should have asked out permission to have her staff enter the suite while renting(she acknowledge this oversight)and secondly were we ok with the fumes while staying there, which we were not(individual health reasons),when communicated to Paulette she didn't respond for a day, indicating no other tenant minded it being fumigated while staying there and it wont cause lung conditions. She dismissed our individual health issue, rather grouped us as other renters. We also would have appreciated the opportunity to put anything away that was on the counters before fumigation. We've stayed at many condos of the same caliber/cost as this one, and have never encountered the lack of supplies - one roll of Toilet paper(which is disclosed in the agreement),no dishcloth, two garbage bags, no laundry soap, 3 dishwasher tabs, sparse kitchen/cooking supplies. For the small cost to supply these items when applied to the rental cost-supply the condo with the bare amenities, renters will wash towels more frequently etc. Having the tools to keep the condo clean goes a long way for the rental property too. The master suite has a sewer smell most of the time, we tried running water to ensure the P trap had water in it - not sure if this did anything - sometimes the odor would lighten up we ended up buying air fresheners for the master to mask this. The pool area was very nice with quick gated access to the beach, the Dulce, Rosa and Jorge we excellent to assist us with anything. In summary a few improvements/supplies would make this rental worth the cost.
