This gorgeous apartment is situated right on Wanda Beach and delivers amazing sunrises. This property is definitely for those who are looking for a quiet, relaxing holiday. Located at the most western tip of the Tomaree Peninsula, 2/197 Soldiers Point Road is almost entirely surrounded by the water making it a popular location for fishing and boating. Soldiers Point marina (2.4km away) offers two restaurants plus cafes. The exclusive Rick Stein Restaurant at Bannisters Resort is just 800m away and opposite Bannisters is the Soldiers Point Bowling club which offers affordable meals for the family and a play area for the little kids.
The apartment itself is stylishly appointed on the middle floor (street level) with 3 bedrooms and absolute beachfront. Nestled amongst million dollar waterfronts this beautiful executive-style home provides guests with easy indoor / outdoor living and a relaxed atmosphere. The open plan living room offers ducted air conditioning, floor boards, flat screen TV, dining suite and floor to ceiling windows to take in the breathtaking views.
The main bedroom features a queen size bed, bedroom 2 also has a queen size bed and the third bedroom features two single beds.

Apartment two is at ground level from the parking area and elevated on the beach side for an amazing view. The local shops are a short walk away and the larger shopping centre is just a short drive.

Fantastic apartment for a family holiday - location is absolutely incredible with direct access to beautiful beach and within easy driving distance to Nelson Bay and Salamander Bay town centres. If beach location is your primary objective, you wont be disappointed. The property was very well cleaned and presented but a bit more dated than the photos showed. It is at least 15 years old so kitchen & bathrooms are a bit tired, furniture a bit worn and carpet a bit musty. The parking arrangement was not great. There is a tiny single garage allocated to this apartment where a normal family SUV will simply not fit so we had to park the car just outside it, at times being blocked by other cars coming into complex. Place was comfortable enough with the exception of the beds - they are old, super hard and uncomfortable and linen was not really to the standard I was expecting from this level of spend. We would definitely consider booking again, but I feel the amount charged was a bit high for the actual condition of the property. Owners should consider updating or at the very least replacing carpets & mattresses/linen to justify this rate and give the place a touch of luxury and comfort.
