About this property

Kaiteriteri Retreat Balcony Studio - commanding great views of the Beach

They say location, location, location. Kaiteriteri Retreat certainly has the very best location of anywhere in the area. The views are simply stunning. Being located up the hill but opposite the boat launching ramp means there's always something to look at. Kaiteriteri is a thriving place in the summer months then through the shoulder season and winter is one of the most prestine and surreal locations to spend a week, just escaping life. Kayaking, Walking, Mountain Biking, Cruises into the Abel Tasman National Park are right in front of your accommodation. It is just 200 metres along the road to book the many activities that are available or let us assist.

Kaiteriteri Beach is one of the World's most idyllic spots for a vacation. In the summer months Kaiteriteri is a bustling location with its perfect golden sand beach, fantastic safe swimming plus loads of recreational activities which includes mountain biking, kayaking, water sports, scenic cruises, hiking and much more. Kaiteriteri is the starting point for many cruises which enter into the Abel Tasman National Park, multiple times of the day. The options are endless.

Kaiteriteri Retreat is split over three levels. Level 1 has our Guest Deck which contains a table and chairs for dining, having a drink or catching up on your social media and the news. It also has a 2 person Jacuzzi plus sun loungers to relax and take in the view.

Level 2 is the owner’s level however it also takes in a Massage Therapy Room for inhouse guests and others visiting the area.

Level 3 is Guest level for those booking our Diva Suite or King Studio Room.

Our Balcony Studio Room is located on Level 1 and is right next to our outdoor deck, sun loungers and spa pool. Your room has its own en-suite bathroom and is tastefully decorated.

Our Retreat has hi speed fibre for your own personal Wi-Fi use plus you have your own in-room Television for local NZ channels.

Our Balcony Studio is ideal for both short and longer stays during Daylight savings months. If you are looking for a stay of 4 nights or longer during the non Daylight Savings months then we recommend you book the Diva Suite or King Room as this gives access to the guest lounge and more space to enjoy the facility.

Stunning
You can't get a better place to stay in Kaiteriteri. We had a wonderful weekend and highly recommend it. Totally relaxing, the views are like nowhere else, warm, luxurious and comfy rooms, generous and caring hosts. Just magic! Walk across the road to the sea and back for a spa and Michaels healing massage. Bliss. Did I mention the views? Seriously stunning. We went in winter and it is actually a good time to go. Thanks Greg and Michael, we will be back!

Host profile image
Greg and Michael operate the Kaiteriteri Retreat. We love hosting guests and seeing them off in the morning to return full of smiles after a fun day exploring. Greg has worked in the tourism and hospitality businesses for over 25 years having owned and operated a family run large hotel establishment in Marlborough. His passion is health and fitness having been a Group Fitness Instructor for 15 years. Today he loves getting out on his bike on a daily basis taking Diva and enjoying the beautiful Tasman region. Michael was born in the Netherlands and immigrated to New Zealand at a very young age. He has spent most of his life in the Nelson/ Tasman region. Michael is a qualified Massage Therapist so if you are looking for some pampering then make sure you make a reservation so that you don't miss out.
