Listen to the ocean as you rock on the large front porch or take the short 1.5 block walk to the nearest ocean access. Just a short walk to restaurants, shops, ice cream parlors and even the grocery store. All Ground level for easy access. The interior is light and pleasant with tiled floors throughout. The kitchen has everything you'll need for preparing meals. Flat screen TVs and full cable package including wireless internet for your convenience and entertainment. You will also find a selection of board games and beach accessories for your use and enjoyment. Outside shower access is improved & more. HVAC, Dishwasher, Washer/Dryer, Microwave, WIFI, carport. Linens not included, please call or order online while booking your reservation. For extended family and friends, this home rents well with neighboring Mack's Sandtrap and A Carolina Dream. I must say, the House was truly outstanding! It offered ample space and comfort, and the kitchen was fully stocked with all the necessary cooking utensils. It was an absolute pleasure staying there! The only suggestion I can make to make an improvement is a more modern can opener. The only complaint we had was the overall cleanliness of the home. It did not appear to have had a service come to clean. Just left with the cleaning job from the previous renter. There was trash in the trash cans. The outdoor trashcans were overflowing and had a horrendous stench we endured until Wednesday. Lastly, there was human hair covering the bathroom floors, shower walls, and shower curtains.

Nice for pets
We were so happy to find a one story home so close to the beach (2 short blocks). And grassy walking areas for our dog. As pet parents, this is a top consideration for us. Everything you need in the kitchen, and very comfortable beds. We spent our mornings on the front porch with a big cup of coffee. It would be wonderful if the owners considered making it screened in. Oh, and a fence in the back yard would put this little cottage over the top. Very convenient to grocery stores and restaurants. This was our first trip to Oak Island in 20 years. I think we’ll be back.

Everything was just as it sounded. Kitchen was very well equipped, only criticism would be no glass glasses, but I understand. Wish I could rent this property long term say Jan. Feb. March normally we go to Carolina Beach for this time. Pet fee was a surprise in a pet friendly rental..*
