Take advantage of special beach gear and bike credit! This Kiawah Island vacation rental features a private pool and spa, a main house with a separate guest cottage, and plenty of gathering space. The home is about a 5-minute walk to the beach.

This inviting home welcomes you with elegant archways, coffered ceilings, and an abundance of natural light. The main living area offers plenty of comfortable seating, a TV, and access to the deck. Just past the living area, you will find the dining area, which has seating for six guests. The well-equipped kitchen features custom cabinets, ample counter space, a large island with an additional prep sink, and bar stool seating for three.

In the main house, you will find four of the property’s bedrooms. The first master suite, located on the main level, offers a king-sized bed, TV, access to the pool deck, and a spacious private bathroom with a walk-in shower, tub, and a double-sink vanity. The second master suite, located upstairs, has a king-sized bed, TV, balcony, and a large private bathroom with a walk-in shower, tub, and double-sink vanity. Two additional bedrooms are also located on the second level. Both bedrooms have two queen-sized beds and attached bathrooms.

The final two bedrooms are inside the guest cottage, located off the pool deck. Both bedrooms have king-sized beds and private bathrooms. The guest cottage has a small living area with a TV, sofa, and kitchenette.

Enjoy outdoor living at its finest and relax poolside on the back deck, which offers a private pool, spa, and plenty of seating. The adjacent screened porch overlooks the pool deck and has dining space for four.

The home is equipped with washer, dryer, and high-speed wireless internet.

The spa can be heated for an additional $75/per day.
This pool has a gas heater, so the pool may be heated in cooler months for $75/per day for the entire stay. It can take 24-48 hours for the pool water to reach the optimal temperature of 85-87 degrees. When the air temperature falls below 55 degrees, typically November-March, pool heaters have difficulty achieving the optimal temperature. In this case, pool heating will not be available.

Please note that this property has exterior security cameras that view the home's front and rear entrances. These cameras serve to protect both the property owner and rental guests.

During your stay on Kiawah Island, be sure to enjoy biking on the 30 miles of flat bike trails, golfing on one of five world-class courses, playing tennis, crabbing, fishing, swimming, and boating. Many families also enjoy the kids’ camp and nature programs at Night Heron Park.

Kiawah Island is about 40 minutes from historic Charleston, famous for incredible shopping, galleries, antique stores, museums, the South Carolina Aquarium, horse-drawn carriage rides, historic landmarks, and sumptuous dining.

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount for this property is $400. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, and more – the choice is yours!

RESERVATION PROCESS: Your reservation is not confirmed until you return the Akers Ellis Rental Agreement. This document will be sent to you via email within a few hours of making your reservation. You need to review and electronically fill out, sign, and submit the agreement within 24 hours. Once returned, Akers Ellis will collect payment and send you a reservation confirmation via email.

The Perfect Getaway!
We enjoyed every moment of our stay at 154 Bufflehead! The house and pool were absolutely beautiful and have everything needed for an enjoyable stay. The beach was a short walk away along a bike path. The trees and vegetation around the house make it feel so secluded. We all left feeling so relaxed and recharged!

The house was great. Location on the island was perfect for all courses and the beach. The dual masters and the guest house worked great for our trip. We had 8 golfers and found the house to be perfect for us.
