About this property

Oceanside Cottage

Come stay with us while visiting Campbell River, the “Salmon Capital of the World.” Our cozy, rustic, recently updated cottage is located across the road from the beach.

Close to Willow Point, and across the road from the Rotary Sea Walk and ocean.

The kitchen is fully equipped with cutlery, pots, pans and dishes for four. There’s also a briquette BBQ for those wanting to enjoy a home cooked meal while taking in the view.
Both bedrooms have queen sized beds. One bedroom is larger than the other (10x10 vs 8x8) and has a closet and view of the ocean.

The neighbourhood…

The Rotary Sea Walk is located across the road. This will take you into Willow Point (2 min. walk), where you can find coffee shops, restaurants, a grocery store, pharmacy, gelato shop, liquor store, a barber, among many other shops/boutiques. If you head north, the Sea Walk takes you downtown (bike friendly). Along the way, stop at Fogg Duckers, a cute oceanfront coffee shop, where you can enjoy a coffee or tea (about 2km from our cottage).

The cottage is located between two boat launches: Big Rock (year round) & Ken Forde (seasonal). They are both about 2km from the cottage.

Bringing your golf clubs on your trip?
The Campbell River Golf & Country Club is a 7 minute drive (4km) from the cottage. The 18 hole, par 70 golf course is the perfect way to spend an afternoon. Make sure you check out their Velocity Driving Range while you’re visiting.
If you don’t mind driving a little further, check out the award winning golf course at Storey Creek Golf Club (located 15 minutes from the cottage).

Want to hit the slopes or the trails?
Mt. Washington is located just 50km (about a 40 minute drive) from the cottage. This year round recreation destination is the perfect place to explore while staying at our cottage.

Summer at Mt. Washington features a new 2.3-kilometre ZipTour, lift-accessed mountain biking, quad bungee trampoline, scenic chairlift rides, disc golf, miniature golf, boardwalk chess and checkers, shopping and dining. Perfect way to spend a day.

The bus stop that takes you into downtown Campbell River is 200 m from the Cottage, where you’ll find great restaurants and shops.

Our cottage is cleaned/sanitized using only natural, eco-friendly, non-toxic cleaning supplies.

If you have any special requests, please let us know at the time of your booking.

We live close by and are always available via text/phone.

The day before you arrive, we will send you all of the information you’ll need during your stay, including check-in instructions.

A gem in Campbell River
This little craftsman style beach cabin was absolutely perfect for my family. It is charming; far away yet close enough to what we need and where we want to go. Beach access, and walking trails are very accessible. If you tire of the million dollar view out the front windows, you can always look out the back for a close up view of the local deer that wander down. The hosts are super attentive and we loved all the little personal touches and local products that they use. Truly ambassadors for area tourism.

Amazing experience at an ideal location!
We thoroughly enjoyed and loved every part of our stay at this cottage in Campbell River! Nicole provided great tips and information on local events, tide times, and cruise schedules so we could keep a lookout the front window for a passing cruise ship! The special welcome gift for the kids was such a treat. Every part of the experience was first rate. We felt spoiled! Thank you for such a great experience, we will be back!

Perfect Ocean Cottage
Nicole and Todd are the perfect hosts to the perfect cottage. They were so sweet and made us feel so welcome. The cottage is absolutely beautiful. Being able to sit on the porch and watch the sun rise over the ocean was just amazing. The cottage is so clean and cozy. Nicole and Todd have thought of everything you could need to make your stay enjoyable. The area is within walking distance of great restaurants. A short drive will take you to the Discovery Pier to watch the fishermen try and get their catch into the nets before the resident harbour seal steals it from them. Or you can shop down historic Pier Street. We will definitely be back to stay at the cottage the next time we are in Campbell River!!

Breathtaking (unobstructed) views of the ocean and mountains can be seen from the living room and master bedroom.

Wake up to stunning sunrises in the morning, which can be seen from the master bedroom and living room. You might even catch a sighting of a bald eagle, sea otter and/or pod of orcas.

In the evening, watch the sunset while the cruise ships go by.
