About this property

Seashell on the Seashore

About the home

Located just metres from the safe swimming beach of Cleeland Bight with a rooftop spa, this home will appeal to all. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:

Indoor Areas

Downstairs are bedroom 1 with WIR and dual access en-suite (with shower and toilet), bedroom 2, internal access to the garage, a laundry and the downstairs living area (with TV) that provides access out to the large enclosed rear yard.

Upstairs is the large open plan meals/kitchen/main living area (with smart TV), bedroom 3 with WIR and dual access en-suite (with shower, bath and separate toilet) as well as bedroom 4 (with BIR). The large rear deck is accessed through the meals area while the main living room provides access to the front deck and from there up some stairs to the rooftop area.

Outdoor Areas

The stunning rooftop retreat has a 4-6 seater spa (electric heated to a maximum of 38-40 degrees) with water views and outdoor sofa with chairs - this is where you'll want to spend your days with friends and family. The large rear yard is fully enclosed and perfect for kids and pets alike. The double garage (with internal access into the home) has been converted into a games room, with a table tennis table, provides parking for 1 car and room for 1 more in the driveway. Additional parking is available on the nature strip.

Kitchen

The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, pod coffee machine (Nespresso pods), toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, large fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and cook top.

Heating/Cooling Systems

There is one wall mounted reverse cycle air-conditioner in the main living room upstairs (which heats bedroom 3 nicely), three Nobo wall mounted heaters - one each in bedrooms 1 and 2 and one in the downstairs living room, plus one mobile heater and two mobile fans to be used where required.

Bedding Configuration

This home has 6 beds, accommodating up to 9 guests:

Bedroom 1 (Downstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 2 (Downstairs): One set of Single bunks and one Single bed
Bedroom 3 (Upstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 4 (Upstairs): One Queen bed

Linen

It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.

Peak Periods

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.

Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies

Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.

Great for families
We shared the house with our children and grandchildren and it was perfect. Everyone enjoyed the stay and plenty to do, the spa was a hit, especially for teens and dogs had a big grassy backyard and great walking to the beach.

Good house for a group
The house itself was good and plenty of room for everyone. The outside (being front and back yards) could use with a good tidy up as it does let the property down a little. Other than that, we would be happy to stay there again.

Beautiful house in amazing location
Loved this house. Layout was perfect for kids and adults, and roof top hot tub added that special touch. Had everything we needed in the kitchen, and the big fenced yard was great for dog and kids.

Perfection
Close to a near isolated beach, beautiful house, functional and the art work! Oh my, something to covet. Well closed in backyard for the little pups, we surprised that the fences even had chicken wire on the outside so the little ones can’t get out. A great touch. We’ll be back.

Could have been better. But the downstairs bedrooms were damp and mouldy. The barbeque was dirty and
the gas bottles required attention. The rear garden required mowing and dog poo removed. It's a pity the house is not renovated downstairs as the location is perfect for a family holiday included in a reno should be the kitchen bench. The kitchen bench is a health hazard.
