Spacious, Upscale MidCity 4br- Close to Everything

Summary:
This spacious and modern new 4 Bedroom/2.5 Bath home is located in the heart of our beautiful city! Experience the local flavor in our private two-story located in the heart of New Orleans! This private home faces city treasures like the historical streetcar line and a favorite neighborhood cafe! You are surrounded by grocery stores, markets, boutiques, incredible restaurants, and local bars. Easy access to all our city has to offer!

The Space:
This is the BEST location in New Orleans! The neighborhood also has plenty of outdoor recreational space, with quick access to City Park, Bayou St. John, New Orleans Museum of Art, Fairgrounds, and the Lafitte Greenway. Old-growth oak trees line popular thoroughfares, like Bienville, Banks and Canal streets. The Neighborhood:
Out of the noise and color of the Quarter, but close enough to walk or ride the streetcar, is a New Orleans neighborhood that’s perfected the art of living. “Welcome to Mid-City,” read the signs on the neutral ground. And that’s truth in advertising. It’s the kind of place where your auto mechanic invites you to a crawfish boil and a total stranger may buy you a drink at an Irish pub or a cannoli at an Italian bakery. Take the red streetcar line up Canal to the Cemeteries (Mid-City’s dead neighbors are as interesting as the live ones) or bike the new 2.6-mile-long Lafitte Greenway that stretches from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue and, conveniently, past a po’ boy shop or two – or 17 – with a sno-ball shop and a micro-brewery thrown in for good measure. Buttermilk biscuits. Live music. A bowl of Vietnamese pho. Who wouldn’t want to visit? Eat. Drink. Get up here.

Getting Around:
Most of the Mid-City area is walking distance to the Canal Streetcar line. It's extremely pedestrian-friendly and bike-friendly. The Lafitte Greenway provides a safe bike and pedestrian corridor connecting to the French Quarter, as does the streetcar, which you are a block away from. You can also easily and cheaply uber or lyft anywhere in the city!

Great base location to explore NOLA
Well kept, clean and spacious enough for our family of 6. Easy access to amenities, and local supermarket’s an easy walk, or home delivery if preferred. Toups and Vessel restaurants were a nice treat though a little (typical city) pricey. Beds were comfortable and no issues getting to sleep. I would recommend a compact umbrella and emergency poncho as standard daily carry. Learned the hard way that short but intense localised thunderstorms are common and weather apps aren’t great at predicting them with any degree of accuracy.

Lovely 4 bedroom home in fabulous Mid City
Our family (ages 15-80) thoroughly enjoyed our time in this beautiful home. Four fantastic bedrooms slept our group of 6 comfortably. Lots of light and super tall ceilings throughout. We spent late nights talking in the living room after enjoying all that this magical city has to offer. Walked across the street for coffee in the mornings. The iconic City Park is just a few blocks away. We'd stay here again.

Perfect location and very clean!
My family and another family stayed at this property for a long weekend. The house is well kept and decorated, very clean, charming and accommodations were comfortable and cozy. The house has everything we needed. Paper products and kitchen products were provided. All rooms were nice and the beds were comfortable. The house is in a good area of town with grocery stores and restaurants within walking distance and the trolley transit line runs right in front of the house to catch a ride down to the heart of city. I would say on average it takes about 20 mins when it’s light times to 30-45 on heavy traffic days when daily riders are traveling and stopping at various points. It’s an affordable and safe option so if you want you want to hit the attractions downtown. You can also catch an Uber and be back at the house in 10 mins or less. The host was great with communication throughout the entire reservation. Very pleased. Thanks!!

Perfect Location, Ideal spacing
This location was perfect for us as we were able to walk and eat for every meal, and the house allowed us to spread out and relax while also having a central location to congregate. There were four of us between 44 and 50 and this was a perfect getaway before our hectic personal and professional schedules get into high gear. It was peaceful. This will be my go-to location in New Orleans.
