LaFontaine Beach with a lovely park for young children. There is a European deli nearby with food perfect for a picnic at the beach.
Balm Beach is a popular tourist destination with nice shops and restaurants.
ACTIVITIES
Awenda Provincial Park offers several beaches with a stunning, natural swimming opportunity, kilometers of trails for snowshoeing, hiking, and cross country skiing. Camping is also available. Take on many kilometers of park roads for beginners or advanced cyclists.
The North Simcoe Rail Trail is a 30 km long rail-trail runs from south to north skirts the famous Minesing Swamp, passes by historic Fort Willow, then through the Mayer's Marsh, farm land and forests. Hikers, cyclists, horseback riders, cross country skiers and snowmobilers are allowed on the trail.

Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre and Tiny Marsh are located in the heart of Midland.
