The Cape Escape
Welcome to this beautiful 3 bedroom, 2 bath Pool home overlooking a freshwater canal. This canal leads to a few lakes nearby. You will love to visit this home with it's large open floor plan, great for relaxing by the tiki bar overlooking the dock or sunning and swimming in the gorgeous pool. This home is close to great shopping and restaurants. This is what the Florida Lifestyle is all about.

Inside the home, you will find an updated kitchen well stocked with all the kitchen essentials for your cooking and entertaining needs. Stainless steel appliances, nice counters and cabinets and a breakfast bar for those quick cup 'o joe mornings. Open concept dining and living areas give an air of space in this home. Ample seating and nicely furnished with a flat-screen TV in the living room. The views out over the pool and canal will delight you.

The master boasts a king-size bed full bath en-suite. In the master bath, there is a walk-in tile shower. There are two guest rooms, one with a queen-size bed and the other with a Full and Twin. There is a full guest bath with a shower/tub combination. Linen and towels are provided.

Great family location
Overall, very positive stay. Enjoyed time near the pool and lanai everyday. Kids enjoyed swimming and views of the canal and wildlife. Very accurate listing, rooms are spacious. Provided pool and bath towels.

Disappointed
I should start by saying that this is my first negative review in 23 years of renting over 50 homes. But I feel I have an obligation to future renters. When we started to unpack our things, we found that the closet in the Master bedroom was pad-locked. We were eventually told to use the closet in the other end of the house. My second disappointment happened when after the sunset, the air conditioning was blowing cool air and the house was cold after a cool day. I found the thermostat to be shrouded by a locked plastic surround. I called the manager. She said that the owner controlled the thermostat. After some discussion, eventually, the temperature was raised which temporarily alleviated the problem for the night. The following morning the thermostat was set to heat-67 degrees which it remained at for the duration of our stay. We also found out the pool and spa heater was controlled by the owner (out of state) and that he did not allow the temperature to change from 78 degrees. 78 degrees is ok for a pool, but not for a spa. So we never got to use the spa. Among the other disappointments was One picture in the entire house Pad-locked kitchen cabinets (only plastic dinner plates and bowls) Pool heater was off for 2 and a half day because the pool water level was too low Living room furniture was slip-covered (not shown in VRBO pictures) The spa is kind of a mini spa (2 people) with no walls for easy access. My advice: Save yourself some grief!

Wonderful House!
The house was perfect! We came to Fort Myers for a baseball tournament with our son. It was a beautiful place to unwind and relax after each game. It was clean refreshing and met our standards above anything we could have hoped for. We would definitely stay again! Loved it!
