Beautiful view
The view was beautiful, but…not a good place for children. Nothing to do, had to get in the car to do anything. No access to the lake. The house has not been kept up, lots of maintenance issues. It is for sale. There was not a “book”. No instructions for tv, no restaurant suggestions or things to do. We finally had to call the owner the second day because the stove/oven did not work and could not get TVs to work. They left us with we’ll get someone in next week. As it turns out, they brought a new stove the next day, and batteries in the remote got the upstairs tv working. Downstairs one had no volume. It was lacking normal amenities—It just wasn’t a great experience.

Beautiful view and stay
Overall this was a great experience. The weather was hot and humid. The home has a beautiful view and lots of gorgeous windows to enjoy the view. With that comes lots of sunshine to warm up the house. The thermostat was set pretty high when we got there so it took about four hours to finally cool the house down. There was plenty of space for our family of seven. It was nice that they had extra beach towels for us to use. We would definitely stay here again!

As advertised except temperature
Everything was as expected other than, in my opinion, the completely unreasonable expectation that you are unable to decrease the temperature in the property below 76 degrees. I understand needing to regulate the temperature to avoid parties abusing the thermostat that would cause damage and/or result in an exorbitant utility bill, however, to expect any party to be ok with sleeping at a temperature dictated by the owners is bad form and should at least be advertised as such if this is not flexible. Visitors should be aware of this condition. And to the owners, I'd recommend upgrading your technology so you can manage the temperature virtually to ensure that the thermostat is not being abused while also allowing your visitors to stay in the property at a reasonable comfort level (in my opinion, 70 - 72 degrees is not too much to ask nor consequential over a few days).

Almost died of heatstroke
The property is beautiful, however the host will not allow the air conditioning to go lower than 76 degrees. If you have a large group and every sleeping area needs to be used, apologize in advance to the people who will have to be upstairs. It is over 80 degrees up there. People had to sleep on the floor in the basement instead of upstairs in a bed because it was SO hot. When we asked the host if there was any way for us to lower the AC, he said “the house isn’t a freezer.”

Late April 2022 Golf Outing
This was a beautiful, nicely appointed home in a great area. Unfortunately for us the house had not been cleaned when we arrived around 6:30 that evening. After several failed attempts to contact the cleaning service, I called the owner who apologized and said he would come over himself to make it right. We went to dinner and the house was clean when we returned. Evidently there was a communication error between Evolve and the cleaning lady. The house was great, and we were all comfortable during our 4-night stay. I will say there were several hidden fees with this transaction. It's a great house and great location, so I would recommend it for any group wanting a getaway to the Ozarks.
