This quaint, farmstay is picturesque! The serenity of this place is just what the doctor ordered! We enjoyed waking up to the sound of the birds in the trees and the cows and sheep in the paddock. The outdoor spa was our absolute favourite! Jill was a great host and kindly brought some ground coffee for us when we did not have any for the coffee machine. We highly recommend this cute farmstay if you ever feel like getting away from the hustle and bustle of this world.
The property was easy to find and easy to access in our SUV. The accommodation was fresh, neat and tidy. The spa pool was our favourite feature. Everything we needed was there although we were surprised there was no microwave. We enjoyed having the wood fire but it was a bit fussy to get going and put too much smoke into the room.
Altogether a positive experience.
We just stayed 2 nights at the blackbutt property and enjoyed it very much in spite of a problem in that we couldn’t get our car to go up the last 200 metres or so of very wet dirt road to the property. Ian got in our car and he managed to get it up there but realised this wasn’t a workable solution so suggested we park our car about half way up the road of a grass area to the side of the road then use a Ute he would loan us to go to and from the property and our car. This worked very well and in spite of the problems we had a great stay and promise we will be back though perhaps we will get a WD or avoid the wet season.
