Ideal ski house
Perfect spot for a bunch of couples to use as a base for skiing Sugarbush. Lawsons a 5 minute drive. Excellent stock of board games. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking (bring your own spices). Rental management company is really responsive. Definitely be prepared for a tough Vermont dirt road up to the house when it is mud season!

Great house, bad road into it
The house was cozy and warm. It was well-kept, clean, had comfortable beds, excellent appliances, and was well stocked with games. There was a cribbage board, but no stand-alone decks of cards. We were able to get cards from one of the other games though(Sequence). The fireplace really added to the ambience. There's an abundance of wood for it both in the garage and behind it. The drive to Sugarbush was a piece of cake, 20 minutes tops. The home allowed pets, and our 2 dogs had a great time too. The only issue had nothing to do with the home itself, but the drive in. The road off the main road into the development, Palmer lane, is dirt, as are the the rest of the roads. It had been warm for the past week. The road was deep mud and we were unable to get my wife's minivan up the road despite having snow tires. Fortunately, someone else in our party with AWD was able to come down and ferry us up, and we left the vehicle on the side at the beginning of the road. The next day it got cold again and we were able to drive up no problem as the road had frozen up. Keep an eye on the local conditions, and if it is warm, be prepared to drive through mud.

Amazing getaway!!
Our family stayed at this wonderful home over the Christmas Holidays. It was fantastic. It is warm and cozy and has great mountain views. It is close enough to town to make things convenient but yet far enough away in a peaceful setting on a quiet hillside. The house was well appointed with everything we needed. Having firewood available for the fireplace was a definite plus! The property was perfect for our dogs to run around and have fun and the public trails throughout the forest adjacent to the property are stunningly beautiful. The town of Waitsfield is a gem with all of the artisan shops, small eateries, and local breweries. The local people are super friendly. We look forward to coming back again!!

Amazing views, big beautiful house, great location
My family of five had a wonderful time staying in this beautiful large home. Four bedrooms plus a bonus room that could serve as a fifth bedroom. Bathrooms are beautiful and there is even a steam room in the master bathroom for winter time. The views are absolutely amazing. Coffee on the back patio every morning and evening drinks overlooking the valley are beautiful. We stayed during July and it got a little bit warm in the house but cooled down at night and there are plenty of fans that keep the house cool enough. The drive from Waitsfield to the house goes over the most popular spot in town! A covered bridge with areas for swimming and eating. We highly recommend and would stay again!
