Great stay at Last Mountain Lake
Sharon and John are such generous hosts. They made sure that we used their property to its fullest and enjoyed it as if it was ours. My boys loved the dock and shallow waters and we had a bonfire every night on the beach. The cabin has everything you need. We were very comfortable and we are already thinking of our next trip.

Wonderful Hosts and Comfortable Cabin
During a recent fishing trip, we had a wonderful stay at Sharon and John's cabin. The cabin came complete with everything we needed, was immediately adjacent to the boat launch, and was situated in a beautiful spot on the lake with many amenities nearby. The kitchen was stalked with all necessities, making it incredibly comfortable and welcoming. Above all, the incredible hospitality of John and Sharon set this cabin apart from others we have rented. When we showed up, John was incredibly kind, welcoming, and able to answer all our questions, including directing us to some great fishing spots! Sharon checked in on us to ensure we were warm enough and had everything we needed. We have stayed at many different VRBO rentals over the years, and John and Sharon were the kindest and best hosts we have ever experienced. We look forward to another future stay and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a getaway on the lake.

We want to welcome you to our lakefront property. My husband (John) and I have lived out here since 2006 and love the quietness. We are both retired. The guest house is at the back of our lakefront property which is a half an acre. Please feel free to walk down to our beach, go swimming, sit on our dock, use our fire pit, bring a watercraft such as your boat to launch at the public dock and do some fishing, or just relax.

Why they chose this property

We love were we live and this cozy little rustic guest house was on the property when we moved here. We lived in it for about 2 years and would love to share it with you. Please feel welcome to wander anywhere on the property including sitting on our dock. Not far way our community has 2 playgrounds, an outdoor basketball court, sand volleyball, and horseshoe pit with some benches to sit while the children and adults play.

What makes this property unique

Some of the unique benefits are that it is self contained, completely furnished with a complete kitchen, propane bbq, and patio furniture with an umbrella. It is nice and quiet, with just a few steps away from the water. We face the west so you get to see some spectacular sunsets while along the water's edge.

We have a private dock for you to tie your boat up to for a few hours during the day.

We are a 5 minute drive away from Rowan's Ravine Provincial Park where they have a waterpark, restaurant, boat rentals, a market every weekend, mini golf, laundry facilities, a marina where you can pull your boat up and fill up, and many other attractions. Strasbourg is a 20 minute drive which offers local shopping, a museum, gas station, and restaurants.
