•NO SMOKING or VAPING allowed at this property anywhere on the premises. If determined that smoking occurred a $300 fee will be charged to the guest.

•PETS allowed at this property with prior approval. 2 dogs maximum; 15 lb maximum weight per dog. Non-refundable pet deposit of $92 per pet will apply.

•Maximum Occupancy: 8 Occupants; Fines up to $300 may be imposed for exceeding the guest occupancy.

•Must be 25 years old to reserve this home. Reservations made for teenagers or young single groups will not be honored without any accompanying adult staying in the unit at ALL times. We require at least one member of the party to be 25 (twenty-five) years of age.

•Manager and owner of rental property are not responsible for citations received while staying at the property.

•Be respectful of the house and contents - it is someone's home. Respect the neighbors and neighborhood.

•No events or parties- If determined that a party/event is taking place at property, management has the right to evict tenants and guests with no refund given.

Steps from the beach
Thank you for sharing your beach home. Our family had a wonderful weekend stay. House is conveniently located just off the beach, but only steps away. House was clean and well maintained. Loved the outdoor shower to rinse off after time in the sea and sand! Would stay here again.

Perfect for our family vacation
The house was exactly as portrayed online. Proximity to the beach was fantastic. We enjoyed coffee on the deck in the mornings while watching the waves. They even had a pack n play for our almost two year old grandson, so that was a huge bonus! The beds were comfy. The huge kitchen island was great for family time and planning our day. During rainy days we snuggled up and watched the ample streaming services provided. If you are looking for a charming cottage in Galveston for a smaller family, check this one out!!

Perfect Family Getaway
We loved our stay at the Salty Escape. First, the communication was incredibly fast. When they recommend downloading the guide book ahead of time, do it. I got stuck and couldn't access the book for a few hours and they answered by questions immediately. They provide everything you may possibly need. Games, beach toys, linens, full kitchen, even plastic sacks for dirty items. Also, a wide range of infant gear (pack and play, baby play mat, etc). A list of everything in the house would have been helpful. It could have reduced a lot of the stuff we packed and brought with us since they already had it at the house. The house is 2nd row, right by the beach, so just a few minute walk. It also had a very nice side yard that we were able to play soccer and golf in. Wonderful, we would love to come back. Thank you for everything!

Labor Day weekend
My family of 6 adults enjoyed our stay over Labor Day weekend. The house was exactly as represented. It was a very short walk to the beach. Whenever I had a question I always got a quick response. We would stay here again.

Well-appointed beachy house
The house had almost everything I want in a beach house - beautiful beach views from a covered deck, clean, comfortable furniture and beds, pet-and-kid-friendly (the gate on the stairs was a nice bonus!), all the kitchen instruments you need, cold A/C, outdoor shower, and more - except, despite the listing stating it had laundry facilities and supplies - there is no W/D. The management company was fantastically quick about getting back to me with an apology and that they had updated the listing so that no one else will make the same mistake I did. The house is cute - very beachy, and we enjoyed our stay. Our kids loved the toys in the bunk room, and the Roku and TVs in all the rooms. Our dog loved the deck and the short walk to our favorite beach! Bermuda Beach is our favorite Galveston beach, due to it's quietness and proximity to town. This house, in particular, is great because the house in front of it is tall - so you have a great view of the beach. It's far enough away from the public/drive-on beach that it is very quiet, too.

Right on the Beach!
My family and I loved this house! The location is perfect with a 2 minute walk to the beach! The bunk room had so many toys that my small children loved when we were relaxing at the house!

Beach Stay
We enjoyed our stay here very much! The location was amazing, the surroundings were so peaceful. The house had plenty of room to sleep my whole crew(we had 7). Cover on some of the top deck that gave shade to sit outside, the swing down stairs was a awesome addition. The only thing that woud have topped it off was to have access to a washer and dryer without having to go to a laundry mat, but that was something we adjusted to so not a big issue. The only thing that I had any issues with are some of the windows rattle in the wind sometimes making a banging sound which was louder at night since the wind is stronger at night, which also had gaps in them so made cooling the house a little harder, but after the first day we got it cool in there. But that is one little issue and didnt effect the trip.

Great house and location
This house was so cute and comfortable and in the best location! The beach access is so close and there were plenty of toys and games for the kids to play with. We will definitely stay again, just wish there was a washer and dryer!

Great Location
The house is in a quiet neighborhood with easy beach access. There were no problems during our stay. We especially enjoyed the deck and the outdoor shower was a definite bonus. The only draw back was no access to the clothes washer or dryer.

Family vacation

Great spot!
Clean property, great location. I had my mom, best friend and my children aged 7 and 5. Quiet neighborhood. Easy access to the beach. Adequate space in the house for everyone to be able to relax. My kids especially loved the kid's room that had a doll house and some toys to play with. A great highlight was the deck! We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing house
We rented the home for our Galveston trip. This is the 3rd house we’ve rented and this by far was our favorite. The location was amazing, the views of the water was great, the beach was quiet and it was very close to Galveston if you needed to run into town. The house itself was clean, furniture looked new and in very good condition and the house was fully stocked with all plates, dishes and utensils, paper goods and even a few beach toys, a family would need. The management texted upon arrival and was extremely responsive when we arrived and had no power due to an issue with the City of Galveston. It was an amazing house and we hope to rent again when we go back, our kids loved it, especially the dollhouse and kids toys/books. The only suggestion I would make is to offer a washer/dryer (the house doesn’t have access to one and going back and forth to the beach, it would be nice to have access to wash clothes and towels).

The Family Beach Trip Elevated
If you're a native Texan chances are you've "done" Galveston many times. This stay was a game changer for our family. Far from the crowds and chaos that can come with the public beach along the seawall this area (Bermuda Beach) is lovely. Quiet and semi-secluded, clean and close. The house itself is just as listed. Clean and spacious and welcoming. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space (important when traveling with a teenager). My extended family also rented beach houses along this same road so it was amazing to travel back and forth along the street for a visit or a meal. The neighborhood is quiet and locals are friendly. Many of the properties are dog friendly so we enjoyed watching folks walk their puppers on the beach (a treat for us as non dog owners). Beds were comfy and the kitchen is well stocked, but the star of the home is the deck and it's where we spent most of our time. Property folks welcomed us with a text once we settled in and were very responsive. We will for sure be back.

The house is in a great location being just far enough from the crowds of the seawall but still a short drive to the restaurants there. It was also a short walk to the beach. Our daughters loved the bunk bed room with the doll house and toys.

Perfect house !
House is right on the beach which made it so easy to walk with the little ones there without crossing any streets. Very quiet community and everyone keeps to themselves. The property has all essentials needs for bathroom, kitchen, and even has a kids room with toys my kids loved. Definitely coming back to this property when we visit Galveston.

Perfect Getaway
We’re about an hour away from the property, but this was a perfect getaway for Mother’s Day weekend that we took. We had no issues, no complaints. Rooms & house were super clean. There were tvs in every room. My daughters loved the play house in the kids room. My boys loved all the board games and we enjoyed the closet full of things we didn’t think about. We would absolutely stay here again. Being so close to the beach was perfect and walking distance including the deck at night was perfect to enjoy.

Love coming back!
We have stayed at this gorgeous beach front home a few times now and we LOVE coming back! They have everything we need for our kids, and a beautiful view. Awesome stay!
Rooms were clean and decorated so cute. Very open living room/kitchen space for dinner and drinks. Wifi worked great. Beds were comfortable. A/C worked amazing for a good night sleep. Within walking distance of the beach. Outside shower for convenience. Would absolutely stay there again!
