Take in the stunning lake vistas from multiple areas while the modern ceiling fans create a refreshing breeze throughout.

Step outside onto our sprawling 30,000-square-foot property, where adventure and relaxation harmoniously coexist. Lounge in the inviting hammocks, watch the children delight in the playground and playhouse filled with an array of lawn games, including Ladders Golf, Bocce, Kites, Cornhole, beach rackets, and more. Engage in friendly competitions on the volleyball/badminton court, kicking soccer balls or throwing and catching baseballs on the ample green expanse.

Embrace sun-soaked days on the lake, courtesy of our provided paddle boards, double kayak, single kayak, and children's kayak, not to mention the crowd-favorite pedal boat. Safety is paramount, which is why we supply life vests for up to eight people. Unwind on our brand-new dock, with two Adirondack chairs, where you can immerse yourself in the best views the lake has to offer. Alternatively, gather around the crackling outdoor firepit, sharing stories and laughter with friends and family.

Bask in the sun on our comfortable beach chairs or seek shade beneath the expansive terrace's oversized parasol. And if you seek additional adventures, an 18-hole Golf course and the renowned linear park Le P'tit Train du Nord are a mere five minutes from the cottage.

Beautiful cottage weekend
We were blown away with how well stocked the cottage was with cooking and baking supplies, an abundant number of kayaks/paddle boards and a separately built “kids house” adjacent to the cottage filled with outdoor games. The water was shallow, warm and crystal clear! We would not hesitate to book this place again!

Excellent Lakeside stay
My only note Make sure you have the access code before leaving home The property is beautiful as is the Cabin Cabin has all amenities although could use a spatula (couldn't find one). Great swimming Lake is quiet, seen some people out fishing didn't go myself. Can't say enough about how clean and beautiful this property is and how nice the Cabin is. i.e. The local store is very well stocked has anything you require or might have forgot.

Vue incroyable
Niché au bout d’un chemin en plein milieu d’un lac (trois côtés de la propriété), maison avec une grande baie vitrée qui permet d’admirer le paysage.

About the host

Hosted by Joaquin

Host profile image
We are a happily married couple of entrepreneurs with two young boys who love traveling, the outdoors, nature, sports, and the water, whether it be salted or not. We are big fans of the ocean, lakes, and rivers, and have always gone camping and rented cottages across many different regions of Quebec and the United States.

We bought the dreamy Lake House in the Laurentians, Quebec for us to enjoy and make long lasting memories with family and friends. To help support our dream of having our own cottage, we decided to offer for rent to people like us who would enjoy and take care of it as much as we do.

We look forward to connecting with you as host and hope you would take care of the Lake House as if it was your own. In the meantime, we will do our best to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Thank you so much for choosing us and we hope to welcome you back soon.

Why they chose this property

One of the most amazing features of this property is it's location as it is at the tip of a peninsula in Lac Ste-Marie. This makes it very private and with all the outdoor space, you will surely enjoy it to the fullest. The other feature of this chalet is the floor to ceiling cathedral windows that allow tons of natural light into the main areas and give you spectacular views of the lake. With all the outdoor space, the 180 degrees lake views, the playhouse, the playground, and all the indoor comforts of this cottage, you do not want to miss it.

What makes this property unique

The Lake House Chalet is the perfect destination for families or friends looking to create lasting memories. With a variety of outdoor activities, spacious living spaces, and comfortable accommodations, our cottage is the ideal getaway for families with children or for a group of friends who love the outdoors. Enjoy swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding and more on our non-navigable lake, or relax by the gas fireplace in one of our two living rooms. Experience the best of Quebec’s nature and comfort at The Lake House Chalet's private beaches, ample outdoor space, playhouse, volleyball court, badminton and more. We provide almost everything.
