In the heart of the West Kootenays, there is a tiny, restfull but lively little village. Ymir welcomes a bakery, a historical hotel and its bar, the little shop, a disc golf and a pottery studio.
Overlooking that village, our cozy and relaxing Kootenay house will give you the opportunity to kick back, slow your life down and relax.
Choose your adventure of the day, and end it in the hot tub or the beneficial heat of the sauna.

Beautiful, private get away
This house and property exceeded our expectations. The house isn’t visible from the road and the property is a hidden gem in the little town of Ymir. We loved staying here and the details that were put into the house and property are done with real care and intention. It was hot while we were there, but the house is well built and insulated, so even though it doesn’t have any A/C, it holds its temperature and cools off at night when the windows are open. The wifi at the time was spotty (likely do to smoke from the fires) and there is not much cell service here, we were working while away which was difficult, otherwise I wouldn’t have cared and enjoyed unplugging. The little kids play set was a huge hit for my 1-1/2 year old. We loved it here and felt right at home, we will be back 😊

Best Little Hidden Gem
This place was so beautiful, such a gorgeous hidden gem where you could unwind and relax with a hot tub to soak, a sauna to rest, and so much space inside and outside for all to enjoy. We will definitely be back and I cannot wait. Thank you for the greatest stay!!

All the comforts of home in a beautiful setting!
Ymir is an excellent location to explore the Kootenay area. This home was welcoming and comfortable from the moment we walked in. Unique home in a quaint setting. I highly recommend this accommodation for adults or families!
