Great Location
We really enjoyed our stay in Montreal, and couldn’t have asked for a better location. Sam was very prompt at getting back to us with any inquiries we had.

Mice and poor service.
Apartment is as described per pictures. It is located on a convenient street for shopping and eating. Some really cool history. There are homeless people everywhere and a camp about a block away. First night we got in late. Apartment has huge cold drafts, but good window coverings. Even with that it’s hard to regulate the temperature. The bathroom sink would not drain. We let Sam know immediately. Then there were mice later seen running across kitchen floor and going under cabinet/fridge area. Sam apologized, and said he’d send pest control and a plumber following day from 11-4pm. We waited all day and no one came. We asked them to at least drop traps off. After the no call no show, Sam said there was an emergency and he’d like it if these things could be fixed after we checked out several days later. We said no. So the following day they sent a plumber to unclog sink and chisel away erosion in pipes. But still no traps. There are large holes near fridge, wall and behind with active droppings. Sam would say the right things via text, but no actual help or customer service. It is too expensive to hang out with mice and not having a sink for 3/4 nights there. As far as some previous reviews on how loud it is, this is true. The upstairs tenants woke us up daily, and the outside homeless people screaming was definitely an attention getter. The location was the best part of the stay. However, I would not stay here again.

Lovely Historic Property
My elderly aunt and I stayed in this property for three nights. It's exactly the way shown on the listing, very charming and comfortable. We had a few maintenance requests, which management quickly responded to. You can't beat the convenience of staying on Saint-Paul Street, as great restaurants and shopping are just steps from the front door. One thing to be aware of is the noise. Staying in the basement unit means footsteps and voices are clearly heard through the floorboards. And this home is located on the same block as Social Services, so there are people walking by, yelling at all hours of the night. There is also a homeless camp one block over, adding to the noise/foot traffic. Overall, we had a lovely stay, just a little tired (due to the noise) but for three nights we managed!
