Welcome to Cedar & Moss, our charming woodland retreat! Our family-friendly cottage offers a serene escape with abundant privacy. Surrounded by nature, you can enjoy your stay in this beautifully decorated cozy home filled with all you need for a relaxing getaway. Only a 4 minute drive to Dwight beach, and 15 minute drive into Algonquin Park.

2.4 acre property with no neighbours and plenty of forest to explore! Enough parking for 4+ cars. Fire pit with Muskoka chairs and large deck to enjoy, and a quick drive down the road to get to beautiful Dwight Beach and amenities.

The inside of the home is child/baby friendly with toys, board games, baby gates, and a highchair all included. Huge oversized couch in the living room perfect for movie nights (Netflix/Disney/Prime/Crave, all available)

There are 3 bedrooms. The main floor room has two twin beds. The second floor master has a king bed and the second floor guest room has a twin daybed that can be pulled out into a king.

A beautiful winter cottage
We just had a quick stay over of one night. But it was beautifully decorated for the holidays. The kids especially liked the Christmas trees glowing in the window when we drove up the driveway. The HUGE sofa was also a favourite by all! Thank you for the stay! My only feedback is that a microwave would have been helpful for heating up leftovers. Otherwise everything was great thank you

Wonderful house in the forest
This house is a real gem. It is exactly as listed: the master bedroom is very spacious, the second bedroom has a cute little reading nook and the room with the 2 beds is perfect for kids. We had a great time hanging out with the kids at the house and enjoyed walking in the woods surrounding the house. The kitchen is well equipped, so we cooked dinner. Just note that there is no microwave or dishwasher. We had a perfect weekend at this place.
