Beaches - Our beautiful local beaches start 1.5km away at Jan Juc beach. Torquay Main Beach offers family friendly swimming, surfing, and walking and is patrolled in summer months. Cosy Corner and Fisho’s are very gentle front beach options. Bells Beach, Winki Pop and Jan Juc beaches are for more experienced swimmers and surfers.
Spring Creek caters to fishing, swimming, SUPing, kayaking (hire your equipment from Torquay Surf Academy in nearby Bell St).
Check out Surf City Plaza, the retail outlets, Bell St shopping and dining, main Gilbert St shopping precinct, with plenty of cafes and restaurants locally, with many more restaurants, wineries, breweries around the region.
Adventure Park is a great day out with the kids - just 45 mins drive away (seasonal).
Getting Around:
Our beach house is within walking/riding distance to beaches, parks and shops. Garage is locked, but there is parking in the driveway or in the court.
A fantastic base for your holidays on Victoria’s Surf Coast. Perched high on the hill at the head of the court, this commanding position overlooks the sea from the upper storey. Close proximity to the surf beaches, RACV golf course, parks and a range of shopping districts will delight kids and families, with so much to explore. Main street shopping and supermarkets are 2.3km away, while family-friendly Jan Juc beach is just 1.5km away.
Closest train station 30km away (Waurn Ponds station) for V/Line train Geelong- Melbourne.
Torquay is 1 hour 30 mins by car from Melbourne.
