About this property

Heidelberg Highview close to Austin Hospital

This two-bedroom apartment is ideally situated to enjoy the best that Heidelberg has to offer, from a winding Yarra River Trail where you can spot platypus searching for food, to the popular Burgundy Street, packed with local cafes and the best European and Middle Eastern cuisine. Wall-to-wall sliding doors open up onto a private balcony and drench the open-plan living area and dining room in sunlight, while two bedrooms offer the choice of roomy queen beds for a restful night’s sleep.
This sunny and open-plan two-bedroom apartment looks over Heidelberg from six floors up. A north facing private balcony with wall-to-wall windows offer plenty of sun to keep warm throughout the seasons, while blackout blinds keep it cool in summer. Split-system air-conditioning in the living room helps to keep the apartment at an ideal temperature.

There is a dedicated study desk at the end of the hall offering the perfect spot to get some work done away from the living room. The dining table seats four, offering the perfect vantage point to take in the elevated view while you enjoy a home-cooked dinner from the fully-equipped kitchen.

Both bedrooms feature a queen bed, as well as wardrobe storage in the second bedroom. Sliding glass doors on the second bedroom allow plenty of natural light in from the living room, with black-out blinds for privacy. The bathroom offers a shower, spacious vanity and toilet, while an in-unit washing machine makes it easy to do a load of washing.
Due to local regulations, we can happily host you for up to 90 nights. Any bookings that exceed this duration will be cancelled by Vrbo.

Near the Hospital but weird check in.
My friends stayed at this apartment as they were needing to be close to the Mercy Hospital in Heidelberg. Location ideal for this. However the check in is messy. The key is a lock box on a chain, tied to a pole ACROSS the road from the building entrance. The building is not named as the apartment is named on STAYZ website which is confusing too. My friends found no information inside to help with their stay. Parking is quite confusing and was not clarified before arrival. Information needed as they went had to be asked for the whole time and because of the app/platform the manager uses for communication you either have to seek a code sent to your email EVERY TIME you wish to ask something or reply, or you download the STAYZ app which might be their aim. Wifi, rubbish and check out instructions all had to be sought via messages. The number they gave me at one point just goes to a voice mail and the property manager or whoever was answering my questions on behalf of my friends never gave their name although they knew mine. The lock box in particular was odd and seems unprofessional and weird given this is not exactly hostel prices. Be wary also of the high cleaning bill. Friends say bedrooms and bathroom very clean but kitchen a bit greasy and pots and pans a bit greasy.
