Steps away from cruise pier for Azamara, simply pull your luggage from the hotel to the gangway! 10 minutes maximum. Also steps from all the beautiful sights of Greenwich. Very friendly staff.
The Davenport Hotel is very well situated in central Greenwich. Perfect for those who like to walk. Close to attractions and pubs.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. This makes ones stay very pleasant.
Very much recommend The Davenport Hotel.

Air Conditioning is Important
No air conditioning in rooms, makes for uncomfortable sleep, windows only open a few inches. Some tiles in bathroom were lifting. Hotel changed breakfast times without updating the web, paid for but could not use due to change in hours after arrival. Not great value for money spent.

This was my third time staying at Davenport House. The beds are wonderfully comfortable and it's in a great location if you don't mind a slow trip to the centre of London. It's perfect for visiting Greenwich. We booked for my partners birthday and the staff (I noted in my reservation it was a birthday trip) left a slice of cake and birthday chocolates which was an amazingly thoughtful and welcoming gesture. Just wish we could have stayed two nights instead of one!

Decent accommodation in great location.
Given the price of this hotel, I think it didn't quite live up to my expectations, but overall a pleasant stay.

Lovely room, spacious. Not a great view from the room we had. 1 tiny bar of soap for the bathroom and no washcloth. No body lotion. Could not find the T.V. Remote control.

I chose this hotel because of its easy access from the M25 via the A2 and A206 and its prime location in Greenwich, right on the park and near the beating heart of Greenwich. 5 mins to Cutty Sark DLR, or you can take the overground from Greenwich mainline station. Plenty of good places to eat around the square. A 20GBP cab ride from the centre of town once the nightclubs kick out and the tubes have stopped (Waterloo). Also on numerous night bus routes.

This was a great location for our family visit to south London. We could easily walk to fantastic Greenwich parks, museums, transit and super fast ferry to Central London. Room was quietest I have ever had in London looking out on peaceful park.

The front of house staff, along with the breakfast attendants and waiter/resses were very helpful and professional. The De Vere is affordable and well maintained - and given its location within Greenwich, which is a beautiful an historical village like gem on the Thames with good access to London via Underground/DLR, my stay at this hotel was fantastic
Favorite place to stay in Greenwich. Some of the bathrooms getting a little bit tired but overall very clean, comfortable and good value. Will def be back again.

Absolutely ideal location in Greenwich. Beautiful building. Decor a little bit tired but certainly clean. Staff very welcoming and helpful. This is our 2nd stay and will definitely book again.
This is a good hotel with friendly and helpful staff in a great location. The only reason I marked it down was because the fire alarm went off in error while I was lying in bed at 11pm.
This is an historic building that has had several revitalizations over its many years of existence. It suited most of my needs perfectly fine, except for not having a gym.
Fantastic place to stay. The building is the former accommodation for the Navy's nurses and has been very considerately converted into a hotel, retaining many original features. Best of all however are the people who work here. Simply brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble.
