Beautiful family friendly beachfront resort.

Both the staff and resort were wonderful. Very clean place. Staff at the hotel, restaurants and pool were all very sweet and helpful. Would highly recommend this resort for families as the units are spacious, have full kitchens, and an outdoor screened in porch. The only negative was that the beach chairs are not included in the stay. You would need to rent them daily or by the week or get your own beach chairs and umbrellas from a local shop and bring them to the beach. Even with that being said, it is a wonderful place to vacation and definitely somewhere we would stay at again.

Beautiful setting. Many excellent restaurants on the island. Fun to ride the many easy bike trails & see the wildlife (lizards, alligators, snakes, bob cats).

Casa Ybel Beach Resort was absolutely gorgeous! The rooms were clean and spacious with an amazing Gulf view. I would definitely stay here again.

Great family friendly resort. Beach is amazing. Room was close to beach with screened in porch - had ceiling fan so it was always comfortable sitting outside.

FABULOUS LOCATION GREAT PLACE TO SHELL!!!

Beautiful location. Wonderful for a peaceful, relaxing vacation. Location to beach is fabulous. Pool is great. Rooms are clean, however, the room is a bit dated. Our unit had a modernized kitchen which made it pleasant to look at. We would return here again.

Overall a great place. Beds super comfortable. Beachfront property a plus. Didn’t see many people wearing masks. The tile floor of the unit was not clean. We had a baby crawling around and her little hands and knees picked up dirt on floor.

I loved that the rooms all have a patio with a beach view. It would have been better if the pool was open. The pool was closed so you had to get your towels near the pool and go to a resort next door to go in a pool. I decided just to jump in the gulf. Our air conditioner went out but it was fixed quickly after telling the front desk. Our room did not get cleaned one day and they told me when I checked out that sometimes that happens during COVID (but everyone else's room was cleaned). I also loved the chairs and umbrellas that could be used on the beach.

Overall performance of the so called 4-star resort is far less from actual experience! The following are reasons why we would not go back. 1) Beach towels not available. It’s a first come basis and overall capacity seemed low. 2) After a heavy pour, one of the windows had a leak and we could hear the drip within our room. 3) 2 cockroaches spotted and taken out in our bathroom. I noted this to the cleaning personal the next morning. 4) Furniture was old and overall room looked like it was from the 80s. 5) Early AM coffee urge thwarted with non functional coffee machine. 6) Nonresponsive front desk as I tried to report some issues. The only positive, dining room restaurant was nice.

They told us there was a $300 hold for the restaurant. If we ate there that would pay for our food, we would get it back if we didn’t eat at their restaurant But when we checked out the lady told us it’s insurance on the room and we wouldn’t get it back. I suggest they get their employees to know what is going on. Plus the desk people were very very rude, they were not helpful at all. For example our key didn’t work on the second day. Instead of giving us a new key we had to wait for maintenance to help us get in the room Also the toilet broke we fixed it on our own because we didn’t want to deal with the mean people working the desk Other than all that... we loved being right on the beach

Location right next to the beach, pretty spacious apartments where you can have some privacy after the kids go to sleep. It's expensive though. No breakfast, free nor paid, within 30 minutes walk - so absolutely a no-go without a car.
