It’s very hard to find especially if you arrive at night. Very limited hot water, have to wait one hour for the hot water after each shower The safe in the room doesn’t work, It’s a good 15 minutes walk to the bus stop.

We wish we could of use the fridge for cold drinks , I didn’t care about the kitchen . The extra cost to use it , should be clear . This is very disappointing, everything is far away and no ice machine , so good luck for cold drinks . The internet is not too good either, what a waste of time .

If u are in need of air conditioning this is not the hotel for you. Very very low air conditioning quality. To the point we got a fan in the bigger room because we could not get any air conditioning we called the front desk apparently there is one central unit that controls all of the air conditioning. As well u have to wait about an hour or so between showers in order to shower with warm water. The hotel was very clean I have to say, room service was okay. They charged us 75 euros on top of what we had paid already on Expedia.

The rooms were spacious, but there was a dampness feeling in the rooms, the sheets were damp and the outside walls of our room showed damp damage. The staff were always around and very helpful. The breakfast was good but had no protein--some sliced cheese or boiled eggs would make it better.

Room was basic. Air conditioning didn't work for 4 days which was very uncomfortable with the temperature in the high 20s and humidity. Couldn't open the windows in the evening due to mosquitos. Night manager let us borrow his fan which helped! Breakfast was very simple. Not a large selection and very crowded most days. Location to St Peter's square was excellent. Walking distance to many historic sites.

Vatican Adventure

I came to Rome to attend a conference sponsored by the Vatican and of several days duration. My priority in booking a hotel was to get one that was within walking distance of the Vatican, of good quality and affordable price.

We loved to stay in this hotel. quite, clean, very friendly staff, the location is great, you can walk only 10 minutes from the Vatican, the public transportation is close: the buses, the Metro.

Great location and comfortable

We stayed 8 nights, hotel is a short walk to Vatican, great patio with Basilica view on the roof, we had a kitchenette, nothing fancy but did the job, there was a nice grocer along via Aurelia on the way to Vatican. From hotel go left and take the stairs down at the first corner then left and follow the yellow dots on the pavement, they lead to St. Peter's Square, about 15 minutes walk.
