It is very near the train station. We arrived early but the staff let us store our luggages so that we can go around. The island, where most of the attractions are is walkable.

Perfect for a two days stay!

Nice little studio for a two nights stay. Walkable distance from everything. Great staff! Bee a little too soft for my taste, but confortable. They were installing A/C while we were there (June 2022).

Maintenace??

Apparently ongoing maintenance is not high on the priority list at this hotel. The first room we were put in had the most uncomfortable bed I have ever not been able to sleep in. As soon as one sat on the bed you were rolled into the middle as the bed sagged so bad. After a rather sleepless night I complained at reception and to their credit they were very understanding and put us in another room down the hall that had a bed that was much flatter (although there was a bit of a sag in this one as well, probably because they do not use box springs). While the bed in this room was much better, the entry door was so jammed (as was the one across the hall) that the only way to get into the room after the lock was opened was to ram your shoulder and all your weight into the door to force it open. Closing it required the same brute strength as well. (We were first shown this process by a maid who forced the door open for us when we first tried to get into the room - you would think that the staff would see to it that these doors were fixed, but apparently not) Also, one was never sure if one was going to stay seated on the toilet as the toilet seat was not firmly attached to the porcelain base. Other than the maintenance, or lack of, issues, the front office staff and the maid service were great. The location was great as well, easily within walking distance to the train station and old city.

It is very close to the train station and downtown Strasbourg, which made traveling around very easy.

Good choice for my purposes

Expedia confirmation that they close between 1 pm and 3 pm is incorrect. They were staffed all day, and perhaps longer. There is only one small elevator which is used by cleaning staff and guests. It was a long wait for the elevator to leave in the morning so plan accordingly. You can take it up from underground parking but not down unless a staff person unlocks it for you. Security is a good thing. Maintenance can definitely be improved. Light switch at entrance not working. Overhead light flashes when off. Loud squeaky door across the hall awoke me & sounded like my door being opened. In my friend's room, a large, heavy opening window had top hinge completely detached from wall. Safety issue! We reported all issues.

Very expensive for what it is

It is very expensive for what it is. The room was dirty, the sheets had spots all over them, the coffee cups had still coffee spots on them, it was so loud the whole night, because we could here the neighbouring guest around and above us, turns out the walls are made of cardboards. I DONT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL

便利　湯沸かしポット有り

毎日出かけるので、駅からもさほど遠くなく、部屋には湯沸かしポット、鍋があり、簡単な朝ごはんを食べられ、便利でした。ただ、電気温水器のため、お湯の容量が有り、シャワーを使いすぎた時、一度お湯が出なくなりました。2時間すれば戻ると言われましたが。翌日は気をつけてシャワーし、2人無事にシャワーできました。荷物も預かってもらえ、帰りがけにロビーで2ユーロでコーヒーも飲めました。

Good price-quality relationship, with kitchen

What I loved most about the place is very friendly and helpful staff. I got a welcome present for the holiday season and there was mulled wine available 24/7 at the reception. With windows closed, the noise from the railway is practically unperceivable. It was nice to have a kitchen as well. The installations, however, need renovation and refurbishment and the rooms could be cosier and more welcoming as they currently feel like a dorm or a hospital. All in all, a fair price-quality relationship and it's also well situated, so can recommend.
