Great room but strict policies

The room was fantastic! It had everything we needed and the location was great! Unfortunately I got food poisoning during our short stay and they wouldn't allow a late check out unless we paid 25 pounds per hour. We sat in the lobby waiting for a friend to meet us and I had to keep going to the bathroom to vomit. It would have been nice to be resting in a bed a little longer.

Expensive for what we got

Great location near tower bridge, nice modern hotel. But the breaker would trip every time we tried to use the kettle (making it useless), the AC did not work well and the room was quite hot. It wasn’t a bad stay but not worth the price we paid, therefore the value was not good.

This was the cutest apartment hotel we have ever stayed in. Spent 5 days there. So clean and well stocked. Comfy bed, lovely bathroom. Had a dishwasher - washer/dry combo so that was really helpful after being on the road for 12 days. Bring your own laundry soap, there was none - but I didn't ask if any was available. So convenient to a grocery store. We stocked up our kitchen with breakfast items and sometimes dinner items too. Lunch we were usually out and about. Easy walking distance to the Tower Bridge and the British destroyer museum. We walked the Bridge in the evening and saw several women walking it alone (this was around 11 pm) and they did not appear to have any concerns. I take this to mean it is a pretty safe area. Transit is close and we were able to take it in the evening to go to the Soho district for a play and return easily. I would highly recommend this spot especially if you are spending several days in London.

While the rooms initially seemed well designed, it became apparent that the design was about esthetics and not practicality. The locations of the outlets made no sense, the windows didn’t open, the manner of communication with the front desk did not work.

Good location to tower bridge, horrible pillows

The room is lovely and has great amenities, and the hotel was a short walk from where we needed to go. A couple things weren’t great. Like said in other reviews the man at the front desk for check in is rude and cold. The pillows were awful, they looked nice and fluffy and then when you actually use them they were so flat. Our shower was broken, we were leaving anyway so didn’t care that much, and I know you can’t blame the hotel on construction but we were woken up at 7am by loud construction and the workers talking as the building next to our window was extremely close. Overall it did the job for one night.

Great location, well designed, good value

Excellent option for London. Staff were friendly and helpful Location: just a 5 minute walk from the Tower Hill Underground Station (which is manageable with luggage!), 5 minute walk from The Tower of London, and the approach to Tower Bridge. Several convenience markets and bigger grocery stores nearby. We got the only available room at booking: the smallest studio which happened to be an accessibility room. But that made no difference to us. The room itself and the WC were both spacious. The bed & bedding good. Room had a washer/dryer that actually DID dry clothes! Huge bonus on a long trip. Detergent provided on request. Shower came on hot and strong. Fridge, cooker, microwave, TV, Nespresso were all good. (Nespresso pods also provided.) Plenty of handy sockets for charging devices. There is also a communal room on the ground floor with tables & couches = perhaps for meet-ups with friends? A well-designed space. One caveat: our room was on the side of the train: with both windows opened we could hear them distinctly (but not uncomfortably loud.) With windows closed it was a muffled sound. Trains seemed to not run late night-early AM so in any case it was fine. All-in-all good value and a great option for anyone who wants a spacious place and the option to make a meal, wash clothes, stretch out a bit in an excellent location. Def would return.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The front desk was also very helpful and guided us/provided information on how to get around using the London transit system (the tube). The location was excellent as it was a 5 min walk to London Tower bridge and also very close to transit. 10/10 would recommend!

The good: The apartment was large, very clean, beautifully furnished, well stocked with absolutely everything I needed and the duvet was thick and lovely. The location was also incredibly convenient. The bad: The bed was so hard it was akin to sleeping on the floor. It was so painful I had to curl up on the couch one night. Directly outside my window was a construction site with a full crew jack hammering from early morning and across the street was a train station I could see directly into and hear every train coming and going. When anyone on the floor turned on their hot water, you would also hear the water heater whistling like a boiling kettle. The last 2 days of my stay, the hallway in front of my room smelled like rotting garbage and made me gag every time i had to get in the elevator. Also, they only authroized my card and charged it the day of my reservation, my credit card company thought it was fraud and refused the charge. I got off the airplane in london to a message saying as much, so I responded to the hotel i would contact my credit card and it would work when i arrived. I arrived at about 7pm and asked to checkin and a woman who couldnt speak english just responded "no". She held up a copy of my reservation with the word "cancelled" on it. I asked to remake the reservation so i can check in and she replies "no, tomorrow". Eventually she let me give her my card and check in after calling someone else, but checkin was incredibly stressful for no reason.

This was a last minute booking and it was absolutely amazing. The room looked just like the photos, so beautiful. Hotel is secure and really clean. The 2 ladies at the reception were so warm and friendly. Giving a 4 star rating because there wasn’t any luggage trolley and I had to get all my suitcases to my room by myself. Also check out time is 10 am, which is quite early. They also didn’t send me anything for my birthday.
