Great Hotel you won't be disappointed staying here

Great location the price was amazing and they had an excellent breakfast that was included in the stay. There is not much to do around the hotel but you cannot go wrong.

The hotel itself is quite nice - it’s quiet and in a remote area. The staff are extremely friendly and will go out of their way to help you with anything you need. Also, their shuttle service is perfect - I just wish they ran it a bit later. The only real issue I had personally was that I found four bugs in my room. I don’t know what the deal was with that. The first two were on my second night in, one fly and one spider on the wall. The third was actually in between my bedsheets after the cleaning service came in - a big fat mosquito. The fourth was another spider on the wall. Also, my washroom garbage was not empty when I first arrived which I thought was odd. I think they could improve in terms of cleanliness but other than that, I enjoyed my stay.

Nice and still new hotel, the room have two balconies that i really liked, but we dont really used it as too busy going out to the city center. A good Hotel was quite out of the center but have a free shuttle service with a friendly driver. Staffs and breakfast were really great.! Price is reasonable. A great stay with this hotel.. i recommend it .

About 20 min from the center, included parking, they offer a free shuttle for drop off and pick up. We got a free upgrade and the staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Very very happy w the hotel and the staff. Very good bang for your buck

Great hotel

It's the second time that I stay at this place and I find it excellent. The staff is great, they speak several languages and are very helpfull. They have a shuttle service to downtown that I really appreciate. Rooms are clean and well furnished. It is definetely a good place to stay

Clean hotel, great full breakfast buffet

Great room, very spacious and clean with a balcony, shower and a jetted tub. Staff spoke English and were very helpful. Full breakfast buffet was amazing. The downsides are that this hotel is far out of the city centre. Because it said free shuttles to and from city centre I thought this wouldn't be a problem, but it is! The free shuttle is only available from 9:30am-12:30pm going into city centre with drop off points pre-determined, and then pickups from city centre from 18:30-21:30, after that, you're on your own. Also, once the van is full for that time slot, you have to pick another time slot or take a taxi or a bus. This is a van, not a shuttle bus. It holds 8 passengers, that's it. The 2nd problem is that there is only one person at reception. The staff are excellent but they need to have two people at reception all the time. They are responsible for everything, checking you in and out, arranging and explaining the shuttle to everyone, and questions you have about anything, they take all the calls from the rooms too. They are over worked and need more reception staff!

Great service!

Very nice and clean facilities. The staff is very helpful, and friendly, the receptionists speak several languages including English, French and Spanish. The breakfast is excellent and the shuttle service to and from Dowtown is very convenient. Ecohotel is a great place to stay.

Very nice hotel! Perfect for us & our rental car.

Exactly what a hotel should be. The staff bent over backwards and were incredibly helpful, the rooms were clean, and breakfast was great. Free shuttles and close proximity to transit made the outside-of-city-centre location a non-issue.

Clean, friendly, well connected to transit

A little bit far outside of town, but the free shuttle service and the proximity of several buses helps. The townside is that Roman buses are terrible - they don't display the next stop. In fact, if the display inside the bus works at all it just constantly repeats when the final stop is. Long story short; you won't know which stop to get off on unless you've already been there before. I found using the "H" bus convient for returning to the hotel because it's final stop is only half a block away. I was too leery of all the other buses.

Really nice stay at Ecohotel in Rome!

Staff is very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. You can buy bus ticket from the reception desk and there is a shuttle to the closest metro station. Room that we had was a deluxe with two twin beds : mattress could have been comfiest but overall we were really satisfied with the room. If you like to stay a little bit out of the tourist area, this is the place for you. One of the perk is the breakfast, it is fabulous with plenty of healthy food. We do not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.

The Place to Stay while in Rome

We were so happy that we decided to book this Hotel. The directions on the website were very clear arriving by Subway and Bus. The staff were very helpful arranging our transfer to Vatican one morning and train station to connect to airport on other day. The selection of choices for Breakfast was outstanding and the Cappuccino and Expresso a treat, the breakfast as good as advertised if not better. Starting the day by eating in the garden balanced the day as we headed into the speed and excitement of the city activities. We had some problems getting a taxi home from subway stop on Sunday night and should have had other options worked out. Local restaurant down the street was fantastic (one of our best meals in Italy). The staff were all wonderful, friendly and helpful. I loved the simply efficient rooms. Everything was very clean. If in Rome again, we'll be back. We were so lucky to find this place.

Can't wait to go back

We were definitely impressed with the hotel and it's staff. The girl at the front desk was extremely helpful with explaining to us how and what to see in the city center. This hotel was very close to the city bus stops. The city center is about 15-20mins away by bus. We would stay here again.

Een fijn hotel, niet al te groot. De kamers zijn niet al te groot, maar prima voor een aantal dagen. Het is schoon en netjes. Wel jammer dat er geen waterkoker aanwezig is. Het ontbijt is ook prima te doen. Genoeg keus, van zoet tot hartig. Ondanks het aan een drukke weg ligt, hebben wij daar totaal geen last van gehad. Er is een privé parkeerplaats. Het hotel heeft een goede ligging voor een stedentrip Rome. Zowel met auto als met openbaar vervoer ben je zo in hartje Rome of Vaticaanstad. Het hotel heeft een shuttlebus en gaat op reservering. Wij hebben hier geen gebruik van gemaakt, onze activiteiten begon eerder dan het startschema van de shuttle bus.
