The hotel was very well located. The pool and all the shared areas were very clean (the cleaners worked tirelessly). The rooms were a good size. The towel policy was a bit difficult (i.e. you had to leave ID, which seems weird since they already had your information including credit card info. Also, their policy on sheet changes was draconian, i.e. we stayed a week. Mid week, my daughter asked for a sheet change and was told the cost would be 700 pesos which is almost $50. This seems excessive since if we had stayed 1 night, they would have changed the sheets for the next guests.

The customer service was great! 2 out of our 4 rooms reserved were older and out dated. We would have liked to have our family all on one floor or closer to one another but the hotel was unable to accommodate this. One of the rooms had many cockroaches.

I had been prepared for the hotel to be a little noisy given its location in the downtown area of Playa del Carmen. The problem wasn't outside, it was inside! There were people at the pool all bloody night and the noise deflected throughout the hotel, it was very hard to sleep. The staff was super nice, and the restaurant that served breakfast and we went there for dinner as well was really delicious and a nice environment.

This hotel is located very close to the downtown and 5-10 min walk to the beach. I liked the swimming pool area, with wonderful green vegetation all around the place. The service provided was great too.

When we first walked in we were shocked by how amazing it looked. I would totally stay again but wished the staff gave us a few more details!! Had no idea we had to use key card in a random box to work the lights and A/C We had a stove top but no fridge, no biggie! After a super long day of travel in extreme heat I would have loved some assistance with our luggage going up 3 flights of stairs!! ( Ya I know, suck it up!) This final thing is why I cannot give 5 stars is they have NO drinkable water for guests! For such an "upscale" place that should be a priority. When I asked at the front desk..the guy laughed at me!!!! Even a water cooler in reception would have been better than nothing!! Enjoy your stay but bring drinking water!,

My stay was for only 2 days. You have to go to the front desk to ask for shampoo because they donā€™t put it in the room. The staff is very friendly but have very limited English, but they try to help.

loved the area and hotel staff and very cute hotel.visited during christmas and noticed the sun does not hit the courtyard or pool so you really cant swim unless you like it cold and you need to walk to beach to tan. did not appreciate the constant door slamming that just did not seem to stop from guest's but thats not the hotels fault. we bought ear plugs for that. all in all..we loved this small hotel
