Very good location, close to the beach and the main strip in PDC. Underground parking, safe area, big spacious rooms with comfy beds. Friendly staff and the pool/hot tub was a bonus.

Charming hotel!

This is an awesome hotel perfectly located in Playa del Carmen. Very spacious and clean with a unique architecture. We're a family of 4 vacationing in the Mayan Riviera and we loved staying here.

Not worth it for the price.

The room smelled badly. The couches were old and very uncomfortable. There was no nice place to sit. Bed was hard. Hot water worked once. Over priced in my opinion Oh and the “ beach” nearby, is gone now.

Our original booking was affected by Hurricane Helene. After JetBlue canceled the flight we contacted Expedia (who weren't great), and were offered alternate dates. We came a week later and were given a great welcome...and an upgraded apartment! The parking is in the basement and safe. The accommodation was of high standard and very clean. We loved it!

You are surrounded by nature and its simply beautiful!! The staff is super friendly and helpful. They accommodated me and my family with all my needs. The pool is small, but fun to experience because you feel like you're swimming in the jungle. The condo was clean and beds were big and comfy. Kitchen had everything you'd need for cooking. Beach and restaurants are within walking distance. The message was also a . Its quite and my family and i just loved it. We'll be returning!!!

First time in this area. Hotel was great- pool is very chilly in December- but rooftop was Excellent! lots of room -hottub- a little worn- needs a facelift- but worked ok. Staff did not clean hottub itself very well - Again- laid out in peaceful bliss on rooftop- all a quiet sanctuary! Would stay again. Hope they fix the Thatch roof - couldn't use kitchen terrace due to the debris falling there- but inside was spotless and awesome and comfortable!!!

Checkin and checkout process is inconvenient. Not in the same location as hotel. Pool is bad. Common areas are dark. Parking is limited and poor. Automatic garage door opener did not work one morning. Had to go to the other location to get help. Key fob would not open the front gate. Had to go down to the garage to get in. No elevator. Makes for hauling suitcases in and out difficult.

Horrible construction noise in the room above us. So we left for the day. Next day they were back again. Sadly we got food poisoning from the day before. I went to the front desk to see what they could do. They denied that there was any work being done. So I invited them to come hear if for themselves. Then after checking they offered us another room but not until 3pm. They were expecting us to go out for the day so we were not there to hear the racket. Very poor customer service. So due to the way they handled the issue I can not recommend staying at this resort.

We had a good stay. The very good part: - Clean rooms - Fully equipped kitchen (pots, pans, cutlery, etc.) - Washer and drier in room ( very useful when you travel with kids) - Very central location to 5th Ave - Access to wonderful gym nearby - Shared access to Taj hotel amenities - pool and restaurant The not so good part: - Dirty beach - unfortunately the hotel didn’t maintain their beach area and it was covered with rotting and stinking seaweed - The hotel was not proactive to recommend alternative beach options and entertainment - Some alarm was going off constantly and nobody at reception would pick up the phone to help address this Final word of caution - beware of spring break tourists in early April - loud drinking parties could last till early morning.

extremely difficult to find. the address is not exact and the phone provided in never answered. After you do find it, you have to go and check in to a different building a street block away just to come back to the first. The key access is antiquated and very inconvenient. Staff is not customer service.

Beautiful Property; Rigid Policies

This is a beautiful property, very close to the heart of downtown Playa del Carmen. The (insanely) loud dance clubs were only a block away, but we couldn't hear them in our (first floor) room. The hotel has no lobby -- the office for check-in is a block down the street (away from the dance clubs). My gripes were: (1) no accommodation for having to delay our arrival due to Hurricane Ian. Really? Seems insensitive and grasping, almost desperate. (2) rigid enforcement of draconian hours for the VERY TINY pool and hot tub. (I think they closed it all at 8:00pm -- certainly before one could get back from dinner.)
