This hotel is simply falling appart! Expedia should not even be selling this place. I read previous reviews and was ready for basic lodging but not for this. Scaffolds all over the place outside under balconies and not there for renovations, they seem to be holding the place. The poor staff are working in awful conditions. It is also super noisy. I never write reviews but needed to write this one.

I liked the proximity to the beach and the fact that we were able to leave our luggage in the hotel at 11am (as early check in wasn't available). The hotel is right out of the 80's though and the lobby smells musty---which I cannot stand. I realize you get what you pay for but the pictures are massively deceiving. Here's some advice: always go by reviews on hotels and never by pictures.

Such a massive disappointment and complete undervalue for money spent!!....I paid almost $300 Canadian a night for a hotel that is less appealing than a Low Fi Cuban Resort. the place was dirty, smelt like a smokey Bar, has broken showers, either freezing water or boiling hot water and is in an area of town where they are only able to use one Cab service who are completely unreliable, and never once showed up when called, and because its in North Miami, Uber's and the like take 15-20 mins to show up. The only saving grace were the staff who for the most part were very helpful.

Carpet needs replacing, the bed sheets were never changed once in the 5 days I stayed at the property. Obvious wear and tear and from the condition of the building, it looks like they are waiting to be bought out judging by the mint condition of the other hotels and condominums located beside the hotel. It appears they don't want to invest or upgrade the facility. Staff is not welcoming and rude although the cleaning staff were more approachable. Will not return.

At check-in, they tried to get me to pay for my stay when I had already paid for it though Expedia. The elevator buttons did not work. Ice machine did not work. Asked for a wakeup call that did not happen. Nive proport location by the beach. would have been nice to swim in the evening.
