I recently spent much of the month of July traveling through Italy. Of the 8 hotels we stayed at, Hotel Pontechiesa was the only disappointment. Pros: Our room was clean and the hotel is within walking distance of downtown Cortina. Cons: 1) Breakfast seating is assigned. In our case, we were seated next to a family with two coughing children. Most of the tables in the dining area were empty yet we were forced to sit next to two children who were clearly ill. During a pandemic, this makes little sense. Why not seat us away from sick people or give us the option of eating outside? 2) A male staff member watches over the breakfast buffet like a hawk. In general, the atmosphere felt tense and micro-managed. 3) I certainly understand that hoteliers have suffered during the pandemic. I was surprised though at the lack of hospitality from many member of the staff. The warmth and kindness that I experienced on each of the other 7 hotels on my trip to Italy was unfortunately not present at Hotel Pontechiesa.

Vacanze a Cortina

Hotel che gia avevo frequentato l'anno scorso e quindi tutto ok, l'unica delusione è venuta dalla cucina che secondo me è retrocessa di un passo. Mi aspettavo di trovare la spa ( come pubblicizzato sul loro sito) ed invece mi è stato detto che non è ancora pronta perché gli artigiani hanno ritarato l'apertura. Sara' per l'anno prossimo, l'accoglienza ed il servizio in sala sono ottimi cosi come la colazione ed il bar.

Bom hotel

O Hotel é ótimo, fica perto do centro ( a cidade é pequena e tudo é perto, na verdade), tem um banheiro excelente e um café da manhã delicioso. Os funcionários são prestativos e há um convenio com empresa de aluguel de esqui com desconto de 10%.Vale a pena! O único ponto negativo é o wi fi um pouco lento.

Ho soggiornato in questo hotel per 3notti, piacevole e disponibile lo staff,buona cucina, e vista meravigliosa a 360 gradi. La zona in cui si trova l'hotel è ottima per chi cerca pace e tranquillità , comunque a pochi metri dal centro di Cortina.

Charming hotel and outstanding owner/staff!!!

We could not have been happier with this charming hotel! The owner was so attentive and so hardworking to please not only us-but every single guest. She recalled our names each time we walked by the desk. Our plan included a good breakfast. We met another couple who had returned to this hotel every year for the past seven years. They recommended getting the plan to include dinner if staying longer than a couple of days. The location was good-close enough to walk to the center of town but quiet at night. It is situated next to the river. Althugh we were not traveling with children-this is ideal for families as it has a lovely play area. All in all-we would always return here!

街の中心から少し離れた静かなコルチナです。

湯沸かし器を頼みました。快く出してくれました。日本から持って行った袋入りの味噌汁を味わうことができました。ホテルの直ぐ下を清流が流れています。川に沿って緑豊かな庭が広がっています。子供の遊具もあり、椅子に揺れながらゆっくりくつろげる雰囲気です。

Meilleur rapport qualité/prix à Cortina

Situation parfaite pour découvrir les magnifiques Dolomites ! L'hôtel a un petit côté vintage mais il est très confortable. La salle de bains était tout neuve et bien équipée. Le petit déjeuner est sous forme de buffet bien garni et si vous optez pour la demi-pension, c'est un très bon choix ! Service impeccable, 3 plats plus Buffet des fromages et buffet des desserts ( un délice !!) pour un prix très raisonnable....il est conseillé de switcher le déjeuner pour apprécier ! En plus un peu en dehors du centre de Cortina plus bruyant mais accessible en 5 minutes... vraiment parfait, nous reviendrons !

Great hotel.... service....location.

We were very pleased staying at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and extremely attentive to any of our needs. The location was perfect; a 3-5 minute walk to the pedestrian-only center of Cortina, and a 5 min walk in the other direction to the Tofana cable car (we didn't need our car staying here). The common areas of the hotel were comfortable, and we enjoyed relaxing and a drink in the bar area before dinner(s). The ski storage area worked great for us too. I would highly recommend this hotel for a ski vacation in Cortina :)

short trip to dolomites

Very friendly and efficient staff. Lovely room with a balcony and view at the front. Decent but not fantastic buffet breakfast. We ate out for dinner and would recommend the 5 Torri -mostly pizzas but other stuff available-no advanced bookings and it was very popular and busy so you may have to give your name and go and get a beer for half an hour. Most people seemed to eat in their hotels. Free snacks chocolates etc laid out in the hotel bar of an evening!

Charmigt hotell - perfekt för vandringssemestern

Hotellet var mycket charmigt och servicen var mycket bra och trevlig från all personal vi träffade. Frukosten var välsorterad och bra för att vara av den kontinentala sorten. Perfekt läge i den lilla stadskärnans utkant och med egen charmig trädgård invid en liten fors. Gratis parkering fanns. Hotellet rekommenderas varmt.

Hyvä sijainti ja todella siistiä

Erinominen sijainti noin 5 minuutin kävelyn päästä sympaattisesta keskustasta, mistä löytyy erityisesti liikkuvalle ihmiselle sopivia kauppoja. Hotellissa on oma rauhallinen pihansa, mikä on vieressä virtaavine jokineen mukava paikka oleskella. Hotelli on todella puhdas ja hienosti ylläpidetty. Aamupala on kattava ja hyvä. Pysäköintitilaa löytyy kosolti. 6kk vauvan ruoat saatiin kylmään ja kuumaa vettä huoneeseen puuroja varten. Sisustukseltaan hotelli on varsin perinteinen alppityylinen. Hotellivalinta osui meillä kohdalleen.

Hotel prés du stadium olympique

cherchant un hotel pour séjourner et me reposer avant le départ du Lavaredo Ultra Trail , j'ai donc choisi l'hotel Pontechiesa pour sa proximité avec le stadium olympique pour toutes les formalité d'avant et d'après course . J'ai choisi en plus l'option pension complète pour le coté pratique , la nourriture est bonne et varié , le menu change tout les jours , très bon petit déjeuner ; concernant la chambre pour une personne elle était petite mais fonctionnelle ; le personnel et accueillant et compréhensif malgré que je ne parlais pas l'italien mais un peu l'anglais , donc je recommande cet hotel, qui plus est se trouve proche du centre ville .

街の中心に近い川沿いのペンション風ホテル

妻、中学生の子供3人とスキー旅行で5泊しました。 場所は街の中心まで歩いて7-8分、スキー場への送迎バス停留所まで3-4分、きれいな水の流れる川沿いにあります。 建物、部屋は日本のペンション風、山小屋風で少し古いですが、清潔でよく手入れされており問題ありません。むしろこの場所の雰囲気によくあったたたずまいです。 部屋は少し小さめで冷蔵庫や湯沸かしポットはありません。よく暖房がきいていてシャワーの出はよかったです。マッサージチェアもあります。 朝食、夕食付きで泊まりましたが、朝食はビュッフェ形式、夕食は前菜とメインを選び、サラダとデザートはビュッフェです。量、味とも十分でした。夕食の飲み物は水やコーヒーも別料金です。 ホテルは家族経営で、イタリア人の奥さんが切盛りしています。この奥さんは英語が話せて、質問やお願い事にも丁寧に対応してくれます。洗濯機を借りたいとお願いしたら、洗って乾かしてたたんで返してくれました。 唯一残念だったのはWIFIがつながりにくかったことくらいですが、山にスキーに来ているのですから我慢できました。 家族で最高の思い出を作ることができました。おすすめできます。ぜひ訪れてみて下さい。

もう一度泊まりたい

スタッフも気さくで、既存の口コミにあったとおりのアットホームなホテルで楽しく滞在できました。遠くのスキー場（セラロンダ）に行く時とチェックアウトの日には自家用車でバスターミナルまで送ってくれて、感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。二食付きの宿泊代は日本のスキー場の宿より安いくらいでした。

Szép hétvége Cortina d'Ampezzoban

A hétvégi, alpesi síversenyre érkeztünk. A szálloda elhelyezkedése kitűnő, jó parkolási lehetőséggel. Közel a belvároshoz, pár perc séta. Figyelmes a kiszolgálás, gyönyörű belülről a szálloda, otthonos. A reggeli bőséges, a vacsora úgyszintén. Kitűnő a kiszolgálás, a vacsoránál az előételt és a főételt a pincér tálalta ki, amelyet zsúrkocsin tolt az asztalhoz. A tetőtéri szobánk is tiszta és tágas volt, az erkélyről pedig szép a kilátás a környékre. Kényelmes az ágy, fürdőkádas volt a fürdőszoba. Kellemes meglepetés volt, hogy este amíg lenn vacsoráztunk, a személyzet behúzta a szoba sötétítő függönyeit és megágyazott. Csak pozitív élményekkel távoztunk.
