staff was rarely at the reception to resolve any issues Staff did not take action on noise complaint (3am someone was blasting music and screaming) Did not refund any money based on bad experience Pool was dirty Private rooms had very little privacy Very bad customer service and experience The restaurant/bar was fine

If you value your sleep, this is not the place for you. With the rock hard beds and pounding DJ music next door from 8pm to until 2-3am every night. We were unaware of these details when booking. On the plus side, and what we were really looking forward to…They offer surf lessons, nice restaurant, only a couple blocks from the beach, right off the center of town, so it is very conveniently located.

It is a very beautiful hostel. Very clean. Our room wasn’t like in the picture, we had a private room and it had no windows or space in it like the photos showed. When I asked to use a phone for a medical emergency to the hospital they had none, which was odd. My friend was in a shared room and was told to use her roommates towels when she asked for a towel.

Place was nice enough and I’m town but the power and water was out our whole stay while other places had it. Was supposed to get refunded but they charged us anyways

Our experience at Selina Sayulita was exceptional! The front desk staff was excelente. We truly enjoyed the small town with great food and plenty of nightlife. It is a nice place to stay, very traditional, and not your typical hotel. If you are looking for a high-end place this is not for you. Our room was small and very private. The restroom was very large. I loved the atmosphere and vibe. The rooms do not have a TV or refrigerator but they do have a onsite kitchen with all essentials. Just a small note. If you are staying at this hotel it is 15 miles from Puerto Vallarta. The bus was easy to take but expect a 1.5 travel time to PV. Overall, we loved our stay and would come back again!

Great spot!

Selina was great, the room was small but clean, close to the shared bathroom. It was a little noisy at night, but thats no surprise in a central location in Sayulita! the proximity to both the beach and the town can't be beat. The front desk staff didn't speak much english sometimes which was challenging for me but we made it work. And they let us store our things before check-in and then after checkout too so we could continue to explore the town. I love the Selina hostels!

LA ATENCIÓN AL CLIENTE PUEDE MEJORAR

Nuestra habitación fue la 106 y era bastante cómoda con baño propio; sin embargo, la limpieza de los blancos podría mejorar, pues las cobijas huelen bastante a humedad y algunas toallas son tan viejas que están deshilachadas o casi transparentes. Al llegar nos atendió un joven extremadamente agradable de acento francés, pero el check-in lo hicimos cuando había dos señoritas a cargo. Una de ellas, en especial, fue bastante grosera con nosotros y lo fue también con otros clientes. Nunca se nos comentó cómo redimir la bebida de cortesía ni pudimos usar instalaciones como la cocina o el cine. La alberca es demasiado honda para el mexicano promedio, por lo que la mayoría de la gente se queda en la orilla. Por la mala atención de las chicas en recepción, no volveríamos.
