I had a wonderful stay and the staff welcomed me like I was coming home. They continued to be kind, attentive, supportive and helpful in every way. The room was models but clean and functional. The bathroom was functional as the sink and vanity, which were well lit, was separated from the shower and toilet. The room was sparce but functiuonal. Not much else there, but lots of room for your suitcase. The bathroom also had a blow dryer and the outlets accepted North American electricals like my flat iron and a man's shaver, which was a very nice bonus.
All of the staff were OUTSTANDING!!! ALWAYS kind, considerate, helpful and overall attentive and friendly in every way. They were the highlight of the hotel, especially DONALD, ALLEN AND LYNN who was at the front desk in the evening.
The breakfast, which was included, left a bit to be desired by Canadian standards. It was a choice of corned beef or frankfurters, which is kind of weird for us. I ordered coffee, which was mediocre and there was no milk. I also ordered toast and had difficulty getting whole wheat, usually white bread. I also ordered fruit and was given watermelon for 8 days, saying that there were no other choices. Finally I asked for a banana and they did get one.
The big problem with this hotel is the internet. It kept going offline and it took hours to reconnect. This meant that I had trouble setting up business appointments, receiving messages and checking in online to my airline for the return
