I think the place is rundown.... they don’t have a shuttle to go to the airport... it took many time to have a booking for a early taxi. I wouldn’t recommend to any body .

The hotel was convenient. It offered free parking, which is extremely rare in Nice. It had a restaurant, which we ate when we didn’t feel like going out, and food was great. The hotel is not right in the city center, but since it has free parking, we were able to go anywhere by car during the day and come back at night. The best part is the service, we spent our last night hanging out with Alessandro the owner, and he was so nice, gave us drinks and explained us a lot of the history behind the area. Would highly recommend it, best bang for your buck, especially if you’re travelling by car like we did from Marseilles to Nice. Just 1h drive away from Monaco and St-Trompez, it’s a great place to stay in between without paying the big price!

I refused to stay and would like someone to contact me about a refund. This hotel was terrible. Air conditioning broken. Terrible smell in the room. Unfriendly check in service. The list goes on.

A clean, friendly, reasonably-priced hotel

We've stayed here a number of times. We are always treated as friends. This time, the first room we were given had a problem with the heating so we were quickly offered another room which was fine. The hotel is perhaps a couple of KM from the centre of Nice but it offers free parking and we use the bus to get to the centre. It is 5 minutes drive to the airport. A buffet breakfast is offered at 12 Euros and is quite extensive. It is rated a 3* hotel, which I think is fair. You could pay much more for a room further along the Promenade des Anglais but you likely would not get free parking and you would have to assess whether the extra cost is worthwhile.

One night before flying home

The room was really small and the shower head would not stay in position after taking it off the stand.

Although this hotel is well located, very centrally in Nice and with a good parking if you're by car, we would not stay here again. Our room was tiny and the bathroom was even smaller! We did not find it comfortable nor the staff welcoming.

Last night in Nice

We decided to book a hotel room near the airport for our last night in Nice. Anis hotel is a great location for that. The room was ok, the bed were confortable and sheet were fresh but the washoorm had moldy ceiling and needed some renovation. In the middle of the night some manager started to reprimend a staff member just below our window so that cut our night short. As well the night staff seem to come smoking right under our window. Well with no air conditioning the window was of course open and the smoke came right into our room. So our night was not the best. We left early and got to the airport in no time at all.

This place has a unique vibe

From the moment you arrive Anis feels like an oasis. Tucked among the trees and nestled beside their outdoor pool, this small hotel offers a nice break from the busy streets of Nice. The rooms are straight forward - it's the ground floor facilities and outdoor space that we found so nice. We stayed at over 10 very nice hotels this summer in Italy/France and this was one quite memorable.

Basic room

We paid 77.77$ plus 2.80 euro for tax for a double bed, breakfast not included. The room was extremely basic, a little dingy, need renovations, not clean, shower too small, no coffee maker no fridge in the room, breakfast to run (overpriced 12 euro and not qualitative, few products and not necessarily fresh)! Free parking was nice.

Super Place

Great owners and staff, wonderful garden restaurant with good meals, English speaking if needed, wake up calls, has an elevator, great rooms with balconies and sea glimpses, and the pool is very relaxing. Can't get much better for a start or end to your south France travels.

Average hotel, horrible staff.

You get what you pay for. Rooms are clean but need minor repairs - like chipped paint or shower nozzle doesn't hook in place. It's a 10 min bus to downtown and 5 min walk to the waterfront. Staff are awkward, avoid guests and make you feel as though you're intruding or annoying them by asking a basic question.

A good choice for Nice

We've stayed at the Anis several times before. We like the ambiance, location and free parking (a big plus in Nice). The hotel is about 5 minutes from the airport, at the Western end of the Promenade des Anglais so you need to take a city bus into town unless you want to try to find somewhere to park. The staff are friendly and helpful and the prices are reasonable. It's clean and comfortable.

Nice small hotel, excellent location

Nice older hotel, excellent location close to airport and promenade des anglais, nice breakfast, helpful and pleasant staff ( I got the impression the hotel was family owned ). Had dinner at the hotel, nice short wine list, very reasonable pricing and quality. nice gardens and patios. what really works for this hotel is the location, ample free parking whilst close to touristy areas of Nice. Would definately stay there again.

Good place to stay in Nice

We've stayed at the ANIS 4 or 5 times in the past few years. The hotel is not central (it's about a 5 minute drive from the airport and it's 3 blocks back from the Prom. des Anglais) but it provides free, safe parking for your car and there are buses a couple of blocks away that take about 10 minutes to downtown. (Both parking and driving are a nightmare in Nice - there is almost nowhere to leave a car where it is not at high risk of damage, even if you can find a parking spot at all.) The rooms are small but clean and nicely furnished and the staff is very friendly. In contrast to what the Expedia site claims, internet service is free throughout the hotel. Note: if you take one of the basic rooms they come with a shower unit that is only about 2sq ft. It's a tight squeeze.

Great hotel & Good value

The staff was very friendly at the Anis hotel. We stayed here for 3 nights while on our honeymoon in Nice and it was a great value for the cheap price we paid. The rooms cover the necessities. The internet was a bit slow but manageable. The restaurant in the hotel has amazing food and very friendly staff. We would highly recommend eating at the restaurant; we did for every breakfast and two dinners. The hotel is close enough to downtown Nice. You could walk down to the Promenade and take the bus for like a 5 minute ride or you could walk for like 25 minutes. One time we even rented the bikes and it was super quick! This hotel is great and we would recommend it to travellers on a budget.

This was a cute place to stay, had an elevator. Staff spoke good English and it is a short walk to the public bus to get downtown to see a few sites. Room was very good, bathroom had a bathtub. Only downfall was lack of lighting at night in the breezeways. A bit nerve wracking for a girl traveling alone.

Zen feel to it!

The rooms were great, not too small. The overall hotel was quite charming, it had a very Buddha, yoga, zen feels about it. A lot of little touches from Southeast Asia. Breakfast was decent but overpriced. The location was so so, about a 10 min walk to the beach but it wasn't close to Nice City Centre.

Cozy well located place

Nicely located cozy place with friendly staff. Should invest more in upgrading some of the infrastructure.
