We loved that the property was right on the beach. There was a beautiful outdoor area for us to enjoy with a bbq and ample seating to take in the gorgeous view. The room was comfortable and very clean. The Hotel owners and staff were very accommodating and friendly.

A few steps from a couple of km of Sandy Beach within a bay. This 2 he'd room apartment has a well sized bathroom and a kitchen, both clean and functional. This apartment, different from the others at a this property is roadside and has no ocean view, but as said, it is a few steps to the beach. There was barely any traffic on the road during the night, and all we could hear were the waves on the beach.

Excellent Stay

We stayed here for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is RIGHT on the beach! We had a great view from our balcony of the sun rising in the morning. We even used the kayaks to paddle around the bay. The beach is very flat, sandy and safe to swim. I would love to return and would definitely stay here again.

Backyard on the beach

The clean, modern suites open into a private patio with table and lounge chair then onto the shared backyard that opens onto the surf! Fabulous! Close to town restaurants and foot ferry to Cathedral cove side. Also, beds were comfortable as well lots of linens and a cute kitchen set up.

Nice hotel - right on the beach.

Owners were on site and very helpful. Room was spotless. Well appointed with kitchenette. Access to pay laundry, shared hot tub, and bbq facilities.

Great place

It was our 1st visit to this part of NZ. We were very pleasantly surprised how nice Whitianga was. The longer we stayed, we were wishing we could stay longer. Our host and accommodation were excellent.
