This was a perfect place for my family to stay at. Close to shops, quiet, and even had a rooftop pool and gym. We walked down the street for gelato after. Would definitely stay here again!

Decent property in a convenient location. Great amenities with a washer and dryer on every floor. A bit noisy with loads of families but to be expected given summer holidays. Staff friendly with easy check in and out.

Rough first night...But NICE STAY OVERALL

We arrived at the MANTRA QUAYSIDE after the check-in desk had already closed (due to a longer than expected driving trip from our previous destination--our fault, of course). The only problem was that this meant that there were no staff at the front desk to check us in to our room; fortunately they have a system for situations like these. We had to ring the bell at the front door to call someone to speak to---but the bell was broken. So we called them through our mobile, and someone talked us through the process of using the lockbox to retrieve our keys. The room itself ( a studio supposedly facing the water) was....just alright. Nothing fancy. The view wasn't particularly great--second floor doesn't really allow for water views; rather, we were facing a boarded-up old building covered in graffiti. The real issue however was the noise. It was a Saturday night. This meant that nightclub goers were out in full force on the streets below, drunkenly shouting, shrieking, and smoking, well into the night (smoke inevitably wafted into our room, being on just the second floor and all). We shut the windows and tried to sleep but the noise was so excessive outside it made sleeping nearly impossible. The bed itself wasn't the best either..a bit lumpy and uncomfortable because it seemed rather old, and the pillows were really uncomfortable too. HOWEVER, the overall experience we had was pretty good. The next couple nights were fortunately quieter, & the staff was super nice and friendly.

A Pleasant Stay

This hotel room was very clean and quaint with all the amenities one would need. What I liked the most was the fabulous ocean side view and the gorgeous view of the sunrise in the morning. I would strongly recommend this accommodations and would definitely stay there again!
