Everything was ok. Indoor pool was a plus. Bad thing is there were many fruit flies in the apartment and I had to re-clean everything dishes, glass, pan and cutlery I wanted to use. I guess no one has the same standards

The sauna, the thermal pool and the gym are extra points for me. Parking is enough lots of slots. The location for me is perfect, high so it's bit cooler, close enough to grocery and attractiion we went to. Facility is like you're at home that you can cook. They provide water and tea. Highly recommended this place.

The staff was very attentive and helpful; the property is clean, with indoor and outdoor pools and the grounds are beautiful; it is located in a quiet area and it is in driving distance of all attractions on the island; you can visit the entire island if you have a rental car, while staying in one location; the apartment was clean, had AC and was very comfortable.

Wonderful Stay

We were very pleased overall with our stay at Acorsonho Apartamentos. Everything was very clean and the property is well looked after. It was too cool when we were there to use the outdoor pool (it wasn't heated) but I really enjoyed the indoor one. It was warm and always very clean. The hotel provides nice, large towels to use at the pool and you can also take these towels off of the property to use at the hot springs or at the beach. This was very handy as we didn't need to bring our own beach towels from home. The beds were very comfortable although in the living room the day bed was not the most comfortable seating for watching TV, reading etc. Also, a lamp would have been helpful in the living room as there was just the ceiling light there which was not bright enough for reading or any activity which needs more direct light. There aren't any facilities onsite for doing your own laundry (just a laundry service which would tend to get quite expensive) and the closest laundromat was in Ponta Delgada. However, the apartment did have a drying rack on the balcony which would be handy if doing any hand washing. All of the staff were wonderful, extremely personable, helpful and very obliging. They couldn't do enough for you. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this property.

Spacious and clean apartment

We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment. There were two of us and we found it to be quite spacious for just two people. Kitchen is fully equipped so you can buy groceries to self-cater if you choose. There is a large grocery store about a 5-minute drive away. Staff were friendly and helpful and spoke English. You will need a car to get around if you stay here, but it's fairly close to the airport (15 minute drive). There is plenty of parking for guests (they have a parking lot so you don't need to park on the street). Daily housekeeping, pool towels, safe inside the room to lock valuables, comfortable and large bed.

Devoted staff

We arrived very early in the morning and were permitted to take our room at no extra charge, same for late check out. The cleaning personnel was exceptional. Our apartment had two rooms and a kitchen. Close to groceries and easy access to all attractions.

Convenient, Clean

Plain construction, but very clean, helpful staff. Island is small, so everything is close. One building is Hotel with restaurant and other buidling are 1 or 2 bedroom apartments which we stayed in. Large, comfortable with fridge, stove and appliances. More dormitory like but very suitable for our purposes. Indoor and outdoor pool, hottub, etc.
