Avoid if possible

Disappointed in the hotel. Tiles were literally falling off the shower wall. Very poor quality place. The continental breakfast was brutal - no fruit, no real cutlery (just flimsy paper plates). The worst part, however, was the noise. The room wasn't very soundproof. I could hear every single person going up and down the stairs. This place was certainly not worth the cost. I could have spent less on an AirBnB and had a much better experience.

Great price for central location

Room was clean, comfy and quiet. Just a 30 min walk from Euston station. Only complaint was that the safe in the room didn't work.

Good location, terrible breakfast

Not a bad hotel in terms of location or room quality. Only about a 10 min walk from the Kentish Town station and high street (for a faster walker). Quiet enough area, good Wi-Fi, firm mattress, enough space to put suitcases but not enough to spend much time in room, if you would be interested in that. Definitely an older building and the bathroom has a bit of a damp smell. The breakfast is literally just toast or cereal and instant coffee. Very disappointing. Don't stay here expecting a full breakfast.

Little gem in Camden and great adventure

Hotel/ Town/ Room: I had never been to Camden and let's just say it can be dodgy down by the station. LARGE room! It was more like a US hotel room than a London one. It also had a fridge and kettle and large windows onto the main road. My only complaint is that the road side and intersection can get noisy, but the other amenities made up for it. The owners / staff were nothing short of wonderful and helpful. WIFI: Superb Transportation: Three bus stops two minutes from the hotel. You can get anywhere in London within 20 mins. The 29 takes you right to Trafalgar Sq. in 29 mins and the tube is a 10 mins bus ride to Camden Town station on the Northern. Food: Lots of great and diverse take aways and if you venture into Camden Town some of the food is amazing with very hip and good restaurants. There is one Middle Eastern called Hummus by the tube which is amazing and reasonable. Pubs/Entertainment/ People: Went to a pub, The Camden Eye, by the station for a Guinness. Now this was a gastropub and not really a local pub but it was full of vibrant people. I started chatting with two English gents who went to watch the Rugby and before you knew it we were best of mates and in full pub crawl mode. We went up to Jamestown Rd and found just a bevy of great places to eat and drink. I have NEVER met so many great and diverse and friendly people as I did in Camden Town.

Clean and close to transit

An old place, but clean (clean for an old place that is...smells clean, floors and bathroom clean and no creepy crawlers) We had our own bathroom and there was a nice continental breakfast included. It's on a loud street with a police station up the street (so bring earplugs) and there is no lift (so prepare to haul your stuff up some stairs) but the area was great. About a 15 minute walk to Camden town (I love shopping in Camden which is why I picked this hotel) and the tube station. There is a bus that takes you to the tube station as well near the hotel. I would stay again, just not on the side with the main road.

Nice place

Really enjoyed my stay. Check in was very easy and the receptionist was lovely! The rooms were lovely. They were clean and fresh, beds were comfortable and clean, bathroom was clean with a nice shower. Added bonus, you can leave your luggage at the hotel after you check out which was fantastic for us. I recommend this hotel and I will definitely be staying again Thank you 😊

Old fashioned building with character, nice fixtures & fittings, good furnishing, easy access, convenient although a little hot on the ground floor. Staff friendly but I did wait a long time for somebody to check me in. Very good value for money.

Ce qui était appréciable est la bouilloire et le petit réfrigérateur dans la chambre ainsi qu'un micro-onde collectif dans l'espace de l'accueil. Les points négatifs c'est l'emplacement de l'hôtel qui donne sur le boulevard de Camden. Bruit en permanence jour et nuit des sirènes d'ambulances et police. Concernant la chambre le mobilier en bois est à changer coins d'armoire cassés ou tissu de chaise ou des sommiers tachés. Quand aux personnels seul la femme sur place est agréable. Le monsieur ne fait aucun effort pour communiquer même pas pour dire bonjour. Cet hôtel est juste intéressant si vous ne voulez pas payer trop cher, rester 2 jours et en même temps bénéficier de la facilité du bus qui vous déposera au centre de Londres et des lieux touristiques Trafagar square et Picadilly. Le coté pratique est la petite boutique de station service Tesco à deux pas. Elle dispose d'un espace machine à café et croissanterie pratique pour le petit-déjeuner à emporter, bien mieux que le petit-déjeuner basic pain buerre et café soluble de l'hôtel.
